Dear Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin,
Malaysia has a total of 572,000 COVID-19 cases with 2,796 deaths. Both these numbers are still surging up every day as shown on the chart below.
The seven-day average new cases is 7,680. We have the largest number of COVID-19 cases per capital in the world.
In early September last year, Malaysia was free from the COVID-19 pandemic.
