Was it about the Fake-News law? Mahathir and Guan Eng seem to be at some odds with each other on the matter. Guan Eng wants the law
Was it about Lim GE's Finance ministerial post? Lim GE still has a court case involving charges of corruption. That has delayed his swearing in.
What else was discussed?
But the DAP leaders emerged from the meeting with sombre faces as if they had just gone to a funeral.
If I were LGE I would want the Fake News Law repealed (revoked), not repelled.
ReplyDeletetypo, my bad, corrected. Thanks
DeleteTried to get his corruption case dropped. Same old same old.
ReplyDeleteWith MACC now gonna get a "compliant" boss, its sap-sap sui for Mahathir to "persuade" the case against LGE dropped, but he can just as easily ask it to be revived again. Hohohoho! Didn't I say Mahathirism trumps Machiavellism and Caocaoism? All he needs are blackmail files on everyone.
DeleteShit here shit there so thag it will stick to dap right?
ReplyDeleteThere is a valid objective obstacle to Lim Guan Eng's swearing in.
ReplyDeleteHe has to be clear of his Corruption charges first.
The Finance Minister has oversight of Mega Billions of Malaysia's government funds. Bank Negara, EPF, KWAP.
For the new Malaysia that citizens deafeningly voted for on last Wednesday, the Finance Minister must be above reproach.
Well...it may also be an excuse for Mahathir to play political games with DAP....that is to be expected.... he still doesn't like DAP wakakakaka...
By the way the practice of a Malay Finance Minister started during Hussein Onn's time.
Getting the charges against LGE dropped? Maybe that was one item on the agenda when TDM met the AG today.
ReplyDeleteThe AG said no deal, and therefore got suspended pending being replace? Why does that sound so dejavu?
DeleteGopal Sri Ram should be appointed AG and he will drop all charges against LGE.
ReplyDeletehe sent guan eng to prison before, wakakaka
DeleteTDM was PM when LGE was jailed twice, then made him FM. So what’s new?
DeleteKaytee, ah. Let me guess, ok? Looking for a replacement fast for Minister of Finance?
ReplyDeletePoor Tokong. Guess he never knew that buying a bangalow could screw him up in so many ways.
They were trying to trade Namewee for this guy
