Humiliation of Najib

NST - 'Why ransack at such an ungodly hour?':

KUALA LUMPUR: PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar expressed her disagreement that the police search on former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's residence took place in the middle of the night.

Taking to Twitter, Nurul Izzah said, "As former victims of early dawn police raids, I must stress my disagreement in ransacking any home at such an ungodly hour."

Police began their search at Najib's residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, Taman Duta, here last night at 10pm and carried through until early this morning.

"Charge, investigate, prudently," Nurul Izzah further wrote.

Tagging the official Twitter account of the Royal Malaysian Police @PDRMsia, Nurul Izzah added that the principles of justice and wisdom must always be in play.

Agreeing with her on Twitter is Parti Amanah Negara's (Amanah) communications director Khalid Samad.

"I am in full agreement with Izzah on this issue. Need to investigate but no need to humiliate or transgress their rights as such.

"Upon completing investigations, charge. No reason to investigate until 4am. I was once taken at 2.30am," Khalid wrote on his Twitter account @khalidsamad

Weighing in is celebrity Daphne Iking who asked if the authorities couldn't wait until the day after.

"Couldn't they wait till tomorrow? (cue music). But seriously, can't they?" she wrote on her Twitter account @DaphCLPT last night.

Nurul pun ta'boleh tahan lagi.

Juga dengan Khalid Samad.

Undeniably it's a deliberate humiliation of Najib and family.

What vengeance, what hatred of a father of a prince scorned?

  2. Yes I totally agree with Nurul. Police should visit only between 0900 to 1700 with one hour lunch break. If necessary continue the next day, Mondays to Fridays only.

  3. The Government of the day was scorned by locals & internationally when PDRM conducted the raids on Anwar's residence in such a manner. Can we expect such outpouring of outrage from these same people now that its their own team that's carrying out the raid on Najib?
Since he's not aligned to the neoliberals, I highly doubt it. As it is, these same channels are ramping up on churning out damning and humiliating trash against the fallen.

I think u r going over the board to continue yr insidious attack on mamak!

Sound so familiar with who ever had a dealing with police investigation.

Checking back to the past operations, police ALWAYS carried out such action as their SOP. Even manmanlai's family had been subjected to such action.

It's a meme-ed police culture of invrstigation. The police r unwilling to change bcoz such action, to their thinking, imposed subtle intimidation, do as to make their investigation easier.

Thus, when u point finger, do use yr brain at the same time.

The RIGHT person to be condemned for such action is the IGP.

Moo should seriously looking into the police SOP. He should instruct the IGP to bring the police forces up to the present time!

    2. NOW you folks only blames IGP? Yeah, sure.
Oh but didn't Monsterball said something to this effect "This is nothing compared to the vicious abuses of power which Najib ordered in his obstruction of justice activities back in 2015/2016.
One Finance Ministry official who was part of the original 1MDB task force support staff had her home ransacked at midnight, family terrorised and when they couldn't find anything threatened to be deported to Singapore immediately"

So when PDRM was with BN and did their raids its Najib's fault, but when PDRM is with PH and did the same its all IGP's fault, eh? Need I say more on PH zombies hypocrisy and double standards?

Next what? Raid on Hadi's home because of the white witch's accusations?

  5. What hours are godly and what hours are ungodly?

I believe the raid at "ungodly" hours is to prevent the suspect's supporters from interfering or too many press hampering Police work.

Why don't the press ask the Police and question their SOP in their work?

Obviously there are still supporters of kleptocrats among the main media playing and throwing dirt to undermine the new Govt. just like some NGOs recently.

  7. If you were robbed at midnight, you still want the police to come the next day at 9am after their sarapan pagi?
