Star Online - Wild boar sneaks into mosque, injures man (extracts):
PETALING JAYA: The residents of Sungai Buloh, Selangor were greeted with an unwelcome guest when a wild boar sneaked into the neighbourhood’s mosque on Tuesday (March 6) night.
A mosque-goer was injured by the wild boar amidst the ruckus at Masjid Jamek Sungai Plong.
The mosque’s imam Ungku Ahmad Hazwan Ungku Kamarudin said that the incident happened as worshippers were performing additional prayers (solat sunat) after Maghrib prayers.
“Our mosque was visited by a male wild boar who had gotten lost in the mosque’s grounds. It subsequently started chasing mosque-goers and children in the grounds. It then went into the mosque and we could see that it had hurt its neck.
“Someone was injured by the animal. Some were trying to escape the hall and some were trying to shoo the animal away from the prayer hall,” the imam said in a post on the mosque’s Facebook page.
Ungku Ahmad Hazwan added that the wild boar also hit two motorcycles in the grounds of the mosque before being shot by a member of the mosque with a shotgun (senapang patah).

I wonder what to make of this?
Guess I better ask Nik Abduh who was (is?) very much into reading tea leaves or rather, flood debris, especially in Kelantan.
Nik Abduh had then said: "The worst floods to hit peninsular Malaysia in history is a sign from God that the hudud agenda must go on", ...
... or perhaps Ahmad Zahid who too is an expert on Divine phenomenon.
See Malaysiakini's Zahid: Floods a sign from God to retake Penang, and also my Zahid zany zitty tea-leaves reading.
Ahmad Zahid had then said: "God smote those who thumped their chest claiming that Penang is free from floods".
Now, that boar? In a mosque? Why?
arf arf, we would have taken care of such a small problem |
Divine Comedy.
ReplyDeleteWild boars are among Allah's most wondrous creations.
ReplyDeleteHeavily muscled with powerful hoofed hind legs and canines like tusks, a full grown adult male is considered very dangerous for an unarmed person to get anywhere near.
Even tigers stay away from a group of wild boars..they only hunt solitary boars.
The meat tastes good, too..
So net effect is a dead boar n some carpet seller got a rm34k gig. Hehehe
