Guan Eng criticised for allegedly going against promise not to use rakyat's money in third national car project

Its president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said that Cyberjaya company DreamEDGE Sdn Bhd, which was awarded the third national car project, only had a paid up capital of RM12.4mil, and it recorded a profit of only RM20mil and suffered losses last year.
"Billions are needed (for the third car project). And DreamEDGE obviously does not have the financial strength to make such large investment.
"The company certainly needs a large injection of funds. And I am certain the funds would come from the biggest shareholder - the Pakatan Harapan Government, " he said in a Facebook post on Friday (Aug 9).
Dr Wee added a screenshot of a Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) document with his post that showed the biggest shareholder of DreamEDGE was Syarikat Venturetech Sdn Bhd.
He also uploaded another screenshot of an SSM document with his post showing that Venturetech is fully owned by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), which is 100% owned by the government.
He said this in response to International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Darell Leiking's announcement earlier Friday that DreamEDGE was selected as the anchor company to handle the car project.
I think we are jumping the gun on this....like we accuse Nie Ching when she made statement on khat.....ha ha ha....
ReplyDeletedogs fight.
ReplyDeleteBetter use the monies for the B40 to save some of their hardships rather than another TDM grandiose plan to make himself Great like Trump on a sure to fail car project which has fail before.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes TDM think he can succeed this time? Isn't he playing indiscreetly with public monies just to boost his ego of making not Malaysia but himself Great again?
