The War of 'Eff You'

Malaysiakini - Revolt brewing amid rumours of Johor Bersatu Pribumi meet (extracts)

ex-MB Osman Sapian

Speculation of a potential revolt is growing following a meeting of Johor Bersatu Pribumi leaders this afternoon.

Sources told Malaysiakini that 23 of 26 division chiefs attended today's meeting in Johor Bahru, purportedly to resist the appointment of Puteri Wangsa assemblyperson Mazlan Bujang as the new chief of the Bersatu Pribumi state chapter.

The proposal was to retain Osman Sapian – who lasted less than a year as Johor menteri besar amid a fumbling tenure and falling out with the party's central leadership – as the Johor Bersatu Pribumi chief.

Following Osman's resignation as menteri besar on April 9, he was also removed as Johor Bersatu Pribumi chief, with party president Muhyiddin Yassin taking over in the interim.

On April 29, Mazlan received his letter of appointment as the new chief from the Bersatu Pribumi secretary-general.

A source familiar with the matter told Malaysiakini that at least five divisions are fiercely opposed to Mazlan's appointment.

Mahathir chose Mazlan Bujang who to be Pribumi state chief
earlier Mazlan was dropped from the exco by orders of ???

proxy war?

It is unclear, however, if other division chiefs are receptive to the idea of restoring Osman to the position.
The three divisions aligned to Mazlan – Pagoh, Tebrau and Pulai – were said to have been left out of this afternoon's meeting
.

The silent war continues, especially after Mahathir made such an ominous challenge on the repatriation of the Chagar land.

Strings are now being pulled, with side attractions from Pak Kadir and TMJ hurling verbal darts at each other, wakakaka.

When will it end and how will it end?

  1. The Bukit Chagar land was identified as the JB landing point for the RTS Singapore MRT link project.

If the Mkini report is true that the land magically transformed into Sultanate land 3 days after the Sultan dropped his earlier objections to the project, then it is a Royal Land Scam , no different from other greedy corrupt scammers.

Mahathir was right to challenge that he will not pay a sen of compensation for what was originally government land, unless it is provem the current owner Sultan Ibrahim Ismail paid money for the land, e.g.receipts, bank transactions.

  2. I like the British royals, often seen but seldom heard. Read about the Queen’s adorable corgis and the princes’ occasional scandal in the National Enquirer. Any more than that and the Brits will be up in arms.

    3. All of Europe's monarchies have gone to strictly Constitutional Monarchs.
In fact many go out of their way to reduce their distance from the common citizens, minimizing the pomp and pageantry, with the British monarchy an exception.

  3. What camps and disunity in PBBM are you talking about?

TDM trying very hard to disentangle the relationship between The Royalties and players of The Deep State where previously it was cosy with everyone happy having their pockets full at the expense of the State and it's citizens using Royalties as their cover/immunity to bypass laws, regulations, investigations etc. and to shut up the mouths of the public.

The problem is, even some members of his own PBBM party were on the bandwagon of moolah during their time in UMNO and loyalties are now torn between continuing this Grab/Plunder gravy train or adhering to what TDM wants to achieve in his lone ranger crusade on good governance under the New Malaysia.

Of course one way to settle this problem easily for the Federal Govt. is to let Johore secede/autonomy but will all Johoreans agree to continuing along this path? Can the Royalties and Deep State players muster enough support from Johoreans if a referendum is called?

The other alternative left for TDM would be to revert back to when Kelantan DN also had a constitutional crisis in 1977 and the State was declared as under Emergency Rule whereby the powers of the MB and excos were limited and governance of the State was by the Federal Govt in Kuala Lumpur. TDM must thank Ahjibkor for the NSC Act which has not been repealed yet because now the path to declare any State under Emergency Rule is very much easier as compared to previously going back to Parliament to get the necessary legislations.

    Wakakakakakaka Karma?
