Farce in Teoh BH's investigation, now farce at Pastor Raymond Koh's & Amri's investigation

What a farce, says civil society group

THE composition of the task force to investigate the disappearance of two missing activists is a blatant attempt to undermine and subvert the findings of the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam), a civil society group has said today.

Citizens Against Enforced Disappearances (Caged) said the results of the initial public inquiry were the findings of three “distinguished, legally-trained, Agong-appointed Human Rights commissioners, and the home minister claims the Cabinet is behind this”.

Susanna Liew , wife of pastor Raymond Koh has joined the chorus of criticism against the composition of the task force set up to probe the disappearance of Koh and Amri Che Mat.

She said the Mahathir government had ignored the family’s suggestion to include in the task force a member of the Bar Council, MACC and a representative of an NGO.

She also noted that the task force composition “does not include any woman or any other member of a different race or religion to reflect the composition of this country and the muhibah spirit which the Pakatan Harapan government promised will be implemented if they come to power”.

She observed the current task force does NOT reflect a more balanced, independent, transparent and representative task force which would be recognised by the public as independent, trustworthy and fair, because three of the six task force members were police officers, and Mokhtar Mohd Noor, who was at the Suhakam hearing submitting on behalf of the police, was also appointed as a member.

Looks like another BS task force a la that for Teoh Beng Hock - ini kah standard and integrity Pakatan Harapan?

  1. Muhyiddin is like Toonsie, out of touch. Still using the ideas and solutions from the 70s and 80s, to try and solve today's problems. He thinks he can still hoodwink the rakyat via a sham investigation.

That is why Bersatu is in deep trouble. No one in that party can replace Toonsie. Muhyiddin no-idea and in poor health. Once Toonsie steps down Bersatu will disintegrate because there is no able successor.

The Malay nationalists celebrate this Azmin gay-sex video, they don't want Toonsie to hand over the PM post to PKR, a Chinese-infiltrated party. Once the PM post is in PKR hands it will never come back to a bumiputra-exclusive party. Azmin is a small korban to keep Tanah Melayu dibawah tangan Melayu.

But meanwhile DAP is getting stronger and need for defectors to increase their 42 seats; may be the largest in parliament after PKR splits.

    Bersatu lawan PKR
    Gajah lawan Gajah

tapi diam-diam Tikus yang akan untung (eg quiet as a mouse TNC)

Kit and Guanee keep heads-down, buat tak tahu, tak hirau, play Sudah-Aku-Punya...Kewangan sudah ditangan....sikit sikit lama lama tikus jadi...DPM

    I'm Lovin' It...rollicking democracy...

  2. The PH Govt. just does not have leaders who have the will nor courage to get rid of Deep State players entrenched in all the institutions of power in Govt.

The inability to cleanse all the Deep State players for the real or unfounded fears of losing political power and positions and the stability of the PH Govt. will eventually catch up and caused the downfall of the PH Govt. itself.

Trust and credibility of leaders and politicians once lost will determine the fate of any Govt, or political party when voters goes to the polls again.

Is the country being run by a Government By the people, For the people and Of the people or being run as a Govt. by Deep State actors and players?

Malaysia is doomed when Deep State actors and players take over the running and governance of a Nation.

  3. To be fair to both Tommy and Moo, trying to clean up someone else's shit is always a thankless and often unappreciated job.

  4. Both cases point DIRECTLY to the abang-adikism of the melayu mindset. U scratch my back, I scratch yrs.

On top of that, there is this powerful setup (the police manned by 99% melayu) that MUST be protected at all cost.

It does the necessary dirty work, sometimes required by the alifbata agenda!

Thus, there is no ANY single person/Dept within the police force CAN be fully accredited with any actions of unsavory kinds. In short, they r all into it - in the call of alifbata!

Expecting fair, balanced & impartial composition of ANYTHING is expecting too much, even within the current new m'sia era, based purely on jingos.

Thing will never change, as long as that ketuanan siege-mentality is not cured. Perhaps, it will never be cured simply bcoz ALL the efforts r aiming to reinforcing that fear of going nowhere if the herdmen melayu, comprising mainly of idiots, snake oil sellers & egoistic blue bloods, r not in control.

So, DON'T just expect too much, even when mamak's gone!

  5. If this is going to be a law enforcement probe, it is inevitable that it MUST contain representatives from the police, provided they are unconnected with the original police investigations.
They need for a racially balanced team is a valid point.
