I am afraid the Chechen Islamist militants are at it again in the southern ‘belly’ of Russia. There has been a fierce battle in the Russian town of Nalchik, near the previously terrorised town of Beslan. Dozens have been killed.
President Putin has given the hard green light to his military – kill any gunmen!
Will keep an eye on this one.
