Sanusi’s joke about ‘wealth’ of freezer containers for Covid-19 dead panned
SUNGAI PETANI – Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Nd Nor remarks during a press conference on freezer containers to hold Covid-19 victims have been widely panned.
“There are enough funeral containers, who wants to book for a spot, give us your name,” he said jokingly.
“It’s not like we want the people of Kedah to die. People in Sg Petani must adhere to the SOPs (standard operating procedures). The hospitals are full.”
Last Tuesday, preacher Ebit Lew donated two freezer containers to Kepala Batas Hospital and Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sg Petani. – The Vibes, August 6, 2021
