Rani’s Facebook post received more than 200 comments, with some social media users expressing surprise over Noor Jan’s death.

Berita Harian reported that Noor Jan was buried at Tanah Perkuburan Islam Raudhatul Sakinah, Taman Batu Muda, in Kuala Lumpur.

Noor Jan had been charged in court for allegedly cheating four individuals into believing he was the Melaka Ruler during a ceremony held on Dec 28, 2013.

The Court of Appeal affirmed his acquittal in January last year.
