GE15 - Eliminate, Extinguish, Erase, Exterminate, Extirpate PEJUANG

Is there a ploy to split PH, asks Johor DAP man

Are Pejuang, Warisan and Muda trying to split Pakatan Harapan so that they can return to Perikatan Nasional or Barisan Nasional, DAP’s Dr Boo Cheng Hau has asked.

PETALING JAYA: Johor DAP committee member Dr Boo Cheng Hau has questioned if three new opposition parties are sincere in wanting to work with Pakatan Harapan (PH).

This comes after Pejuang’s announcement that it will contest in 120 parliamentary seats, as the party, together with Muda and Sabah-based Warisan, look at ways to win GE15.

Boo also questioned if Warisan and Muda were planning to make it a three-cornered fight in Peninsular Malaysia.

“Are Pejuang, Warisan and Muda trying to split PH so that they can return to the Perikatan Nasional or Barisan Nasional coalition?” he said in a statement.

He pointed out that Pejuang was “after all, part of Umno and Bersatu”.

“Bersatu withdrew its support for PH, causing the collapse of the coalition after just 22 months in power,” Boo said.

He added that Warisan was behaving the same way as Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) did in the 1995 general election, when a three-corner fight in Johor contributed to the opposition’s downfall that same year.

He reminded MPs from these parties that they won their seats under PH and PKR tickets at the last general election.

On Aug 23, Pejuang chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad reportedly said his party has set its sights on contesting in 120 parliamentary seats.

  1. Any mosquito party that contests 120 seats will likely to lose deposits in many of its seats.
