PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak has hit out at “traitors” within Umno who have attempted to help other parties “tame” fellow members.
“Only traitors and victims of ‘the scheme of things’ within the party will allow and help others to tame their own party,” he said in a Facebook post, referring to a recording allegedly of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin talking about offering Umno members positions in exchange for their support.
However, Najib did not make direct reference to who these “traitors” within Umno may be.
“Why do they have the recipe to tame another party, but not the recipe to control Covid-19 and save the country?
“This is because holding onto power is in their minds and their plans every day. Nothing else.
“That is their focus every day during their meetings that run late into the night.”
In a separate post, Najib cited the many ways the powers that be had attempted to “tame” him.
These included the prosecution of his family members through court cases, seizure of his assets, attempts to bankrupt him, freezing his personal and party bank accounts, and exploiting resources to “create propaganda and attack me on a daily basis”.
He then sarcastically questioned if that was all the government had to throw at him. “All done?” he asked.
But no need to tame MCA......satu Meow pun tadak from Wee KHAT Siong....ha ha ha...
