2 UMNO MPs told Turtle-Egg Head to Feekc off on purported but fabricated support for Mahia

Two Umno MPs deny backing PN as claimed by DPM

Two Umno MPs have disputed allegations that they are among 31 BN lawmakers that support Perikatan Nasional, as claimed by Umno vice-president Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Tanjong Karang MP Noh Omar (above) said he will vote against Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin in a confidence motion in Parliament.

Meanwhile, Baling MP Azeez Abdul Rahim said he also followed the party's supreme council decision - which is to withdraw support for Muhyiddin.

Speaking in a virtual presser today, Noh denied he had flip-flopped on his position.

"My stance is clear, I agree and will comply with the Umno supreme council's decision to withdraw support for the prime minister in Parliament," he said.

"I want to deny any allegations that I am easily bought or flip-flopped," he added.

The Tanjong Karang MP and Baling MP were previously among 11 MPs including Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who declared they were withdrawing support for Muhyiddin and PN.

However, Ismail today claimed Noh, Azeez, and Parit MP Mohd Nizar Zakaria - who was also with Zahid - were now backing PN.

Noh and Azeez clarified that they had attended a BN MPs meeting this morning where they signed an attendance sheet - not an agreement to support PN or anything of that nature.

Noh said he agreed that the PN government is still valid for now, but only until the vote of confidence is held in Parliament.

He also agreed that Zahid should meet the party's MPs to explain the move to oust Muhyiddin.

Noh said besides a vote of confidence, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong could summon lawmakers to determine whether Muhyiddin had majority support.

In a separate virtual presser, Azeez said party decisions applied to all members.

"I am a party member who is loyal to the party's decision. Whatever the party decides on is done en bloc," he said.
