KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 — An artistes’ group suggested that the government revoke rapper Wee Meng Chee or Namewee’s citizenship over his latest music video controversy.
Malaysian Artiste Association (Seniman) president Rozaidi Abd Jamil, popularly known as Zed Zaidi, claimed Namewee has repeatedly been provocative towards Malaysia’s cultural and religious sensitivities with his performances and behaviour.
Hey, why doesn't Seniman ask for the citizenship of the following assh*les to be revoked NOT ONLY for highly provocative ethnic, cultural and religious INsensitivity but also for tingkah-laku TA'MALU:
(a) Zamihan Mat Zin who described Chinese people as being “unhygienic” but doesn't have any shame in accepting his salary paid probably/mostly by 'unhygienic sources, and
(b) Ismail Sabri a.k.a Bapak Low-Ar 2 who in 2015 was described by Azmi Sharon (a University Malaya law lecturer) as not only a bullshitter but a batu api (provocateur), claiming “... that only the Chinese oppress consumers” and “... only consumers who are being oppressed have been the Malays”.
Ismail Sabri had then called on Malays to boycott Chinese traders but subsequently (a mere 3 months later) shamelessly and with rhino-hide urged non-Malays to support his Malays-only Low-Ar 2 mall and to emulate their Malay counterparts whom he described as “colour blind” in their shopping preferences. Utterlay shameless lah. Well, those Malay traders might be but we know Ismail Sabri wasn't, wakakaka.
Ismail Sabri he created the Malays-only Low-Ar 2 to rival LowYat mall because of a snatch thief, drug addict, violent thug and convicted criminal |
Then there is also Ibrahim Ali and a host of others like him.
But you know something?
No one can revoke Namewee's citizenship, yes, no one.
Namewee was born Wee Meng Chee on 6 May 1983 in Muar, Johor, Malaysia as a Malaysian.

“Even if you do something disloyal, or give the country a bad image… that cannot be a reason for your citizenship to be revoked."
“For example, those who were involved in the Al-Ma’unah movement, they were charged and convicted of waging war against the Yang di-Pertuan Agong … even their citizenships cannot be revoked,” he explains.
The only way a person who has been born a Malaysian citizen can have his citizenship revoked is if he obtains the citizenship of another country, as Malaysia does not recognise dual citizenship.

But for those who have been naturalised, ie. not born Malaysian but gaining their citizenship by application (eg. those allegedly naturalised under the Project IC secret scheme or allegedly as rumoured, a certain Indian Muslim preacher) can have their citizenship stripped for a variety of reasons. I won't go into these here.
But did you know that Mahathir had called for Ambiga Sreenevasan to be stripped of her citizenship?
In 2013 Ibrahim Ali and Mahathir wanted to have Ambiga's citizenship stripped for being involved with BERSIH |
The same Star Online reported that in early 2013 (extracts):
Many individuals, including Ibrahim [Ali], ........ and even former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad have called for Ambiga’s citizenship to be revoked, following her involvement with Bersih.
In reaction, Penang Gerakan leader Baljit Singh demanded for Ibrahim’s citizenship to be revoked, saying the Perkasa chief has committed treason in questioning the “King’s decision to grant a royal audience to Ambiga”.
Earlier this year, Dr Mahathir reportedly said the Government needed to amend the constitution if it wanted to strip the citizenship of lawyers such as Ambiga.
Earlier this year, Dr Mahathir reportedly said the Government needed to amend the constitution if it wanted to strip the citizenship of lawyers such as Ambiga.
A retired judge has alleged that Dr Mahathir Mohamad and former attorney-general (AG) Abu Talib Othman were behind the amendment to the Federal Constitution in 1988, which removed the judicial power of the courts. Gopal Sri Ram said this came about after the then Supreme Court ruled in the case of Public Prosecutor v Yap Peng that the AG, who is also the public prosecutor, could not at his discretion apply to transfer criminal cases for trial. In 1987, the apex court in a majority 3-2 ruling held that the public prosecutor’s move to use Section 418A of the Criminal Procedure Code was against Article 121 (1).The majority held that the power to transfer cases was an exercise of judicial power. From FMT (22 July 2017) - for more, read here |
Wakakaka, another of his multifarious amendments of the already much mutilated Constitution lah!
But Syahredzan Johan advised that the issue of citizenship is a very serious one, saying:
“Any amendment to the constitution requires a two-thirds majority in Parliament, but an amendment to Part III has an additional safeguard. It also requires the consent of the Conference of Rulers, as provided for under Article 159(5).
“That is how serious the constitution views the issue of citizenship.”

Hope Mahathir knows that by now, and if he hasn't, can Lim Kit Siang please let him know, wakakaka.
Orang tua Cina mudah lupa |

ReplyDeletewhat about your beloved PKR, the treachery-famed party? wakakaka
DeleteIt is worth remembering that during those halcyon days when Mahathir was still on the same side as Najib, this blog raised nary a word against Mahathir.
ReplyDeleteDO NOT TRUST AN AGENT WITH HIDDEN MOTIVES.
the frenetic frenzied fanatical way you always defend Mahathir makes me wonder how much dedak he's paying you or/and have paid you
Delete"...makes me wonder how much dedak he's paying you or/and have paid you"
DeleteWakakaka....this is so Ktemoc now...thief yelling "thief, thief" to take the heat from the real thief himself ! LOLOLO
Yes...have to agree with Monsterball that during those days when Pinklips were ever so cozy with the Old Man, there's hardly a word against Mahathir. But once they 'split up', and we hear of rampant rumors of bloggers for hire ( fighting dogs for hired with lucrative dedaks ), then suddenly we get hundreds upon hundreds of anti Mahathir articles raining on our poor heads almost on a daily basis, wakakaka. And nary a word on the songklap klepto maniac with many first...the latest example being BNM having to pay RM 2 Billion to get a piece of land for a financial training centre. Pordah la....Venezuela here we come !
It's shameful that you see ONLY what you want to see, cherry-picking your bits and pieces.
Deletewhen I attacked Najib, all kept quiet as a mouse, but when I attacked Mahathir, all the dedak-eaters like Monsterball leapt forth to defend him, not as if Mahathir has been an angel.
That's your shame.
Care to list yr articles critical of pinklips ke?
DeleteDo go back as far as u like.
Let the readers be the judge lah.
I have 6,111 posts. Just google for Najib, and don't cherry-pick
DeleteWhich part of "...during those halcyon days when Mahathir was still on the same side as Najib, this blog raised nary a word against Mahathir." that you cannot understand ?
Deleteyou call that evidence? wakakaka, either you don't know what evidence is or you're just bloody lazy
DeletePoor excuses lah!
DeleteU tau u ada 6111 posts, Maksud u ada listing record. Betul?
So, why asking me to Google Najib when u have records in hand? Why do bloody lazy?
Muhahaha.... U show yr last card le. How to argue yr way out unless u do a shameless silence like yr sifu mom.
Don't forget, he had been caught by the pommie law.
U might not be that 'lucky' if pinklips see u no-up le. Wakakakaka...
Wow...this is truly rich..."...when I attacked Najib, all kept quiet as a mouse..."
DeleteYa lor...you did ferociously "attack" your beloved cermelang leader...yes you were indeed outraged, telling him off, by castigating him as being "naughty" for all the malfeasance with regards to 1MDB, for being caught with billions in his private accounts, and indeed, you were positively fuming at such brazen plundering of the coffer that you appropriately labelled all such dastardly shameful stealing as " misdemeanor" !
Who would not tremble and cower in fear when Ktemoc sternly tell you off for being Naughty ! Billions were stolen at the expense of the rakyat and it is perfectly right to scold these shameless plunderers for being Naughty ! And now we learned the real meaning of "Misdemeanor" as applied in this context, wakakakaka.
Pordah la...that's YOUR shame.
wow, JJ, you know it all. what a waste of talent and Malaysian insider stories if you do use your god-given brilliance and knowledge to blog and enlighten us all. c'mon, start a blog and contribute instead of wasting your time here moaning, groaning and growling
Delete"Guilty until proven innocent", the gospel of CK. Also, very lazy, expecting to be spoon fed instead of looking for information he wants - typical of the Malaysian new millennial. Podah
Deleteexcuses after excuses.... Muahaha ha....
DeleteOuiiii… baca betul2 le. This is hydrogen bomb hitting yr fake moral altar.
1) "Guilty until proven innocent"¿¿?
Wakakakaka... there r tons & tons circumstantial evidences, not ONLY in M'sia but all over the whole world le, about pinklips malfeasances & ketty pilferages.
U tak faham berita antarabangsa tu ke?
Before, u fart, go Google what's circumstantial evidences, OK?
2) "Guilty until proven innocent" DOESN'T apply to mamak with u accusing mamak wanted to strip Ambiga off her citizenship in 2013.
Show concrete (OK maybe circumstantial) proofs lah.
'Reportedly said' by one single reporter is NO circumstantial evidences - tau tak? (has Google enlightened u?)
Surely, u buat double, treble checks before u fitnahkan mamak!
3) u buat berita tenting pinklips. Tapi yang mana tu berita buruk?
U have listing of yr 6100 postings, surely u can EASILY cross reference to dig out the wanted articles. Tapi u give grandmother's story about laziness & spoon-fed!
WHAT r u hiding? Podah.
"...JJ, you know it all. what a waste of talent and Malaysian insider stories if you do use your god-given brilliance and knowledge to blog and enlighten us all. c'mon, start a blog and contribute..."
DeleteBalik balik, urging those who offered alternative/opposing views to start their own blogs ! Muahahaha. Why do I need to start a blog at all when I could call out shameless hypocritical mercenary bloggers who, as the GE14 looms nearer, has sunk to such shitty pathetic level of desperation that I couldn't help but feel a smidgen of pity now for this desperado..huhuhu... Oh, what a waste. this blogger started off quite nicely, steady and quite cool, very even-handed. Now all is lost...just because of that D word, wakakaka. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul ?
