Fei Sok strikes back

Starring Jho Lo, wakakaka

FMT - DoJ court filing proves I was right on Equanimity, says Jho Low:

PETALING JAYA: Fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho today cited a recent court filing by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) to support his claim that Putrajaya had been lying when it said the US was involved in and had supported Malaysia’s seizure of the RM1 billion superyacht Equanimity.

Low, better known as Jho Low, said the DoJ’s report to the California federal court showed that the US had planned to bring the yacht to the country, and had spent considerable sums on a crew and fuel for the upkeep of the vessel.

We are not surprised to see the US DoJ confirm that Dr Mahathir and his attorney-general have been lying all along: Malaysia’s illegal seizure of the Equanimity was without US knowledge or consent, and in violation of both a US court order and a decision of the Indonesian court.

“Today’s court filing by the DoJ directly contradicts the false statements of the corrupt Mahathir regime, which stated without equivocation that the US was involved with, and agreed to, Mahathir’s illegal seizure of this asset,” Low said in a statement issued by his spokesman.

His statement was accompanied by a copy of what is said to be the DoJ’s court filing dated Aug 17.

Jho Low, who is at the centre of investigations in Malaysia and the US over allegations of embezzling billions of dollars from 1MDB, had from the start maintained that the move to seize the Equanimity was illegal and politically motivated.

He also accused Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad of having no interest in the rule of law.

The Equanimity, which has been held at Port Klang since its arrival in Malaysian waters on Aug 7, is believed to have been acquired with funds allegedly plundered from 1MDB.

Indonesian police seized the yacht at the request of the US authorities and handed it over to Malaysia after a recent visit by Mahathir to the country.

Jho Low however said Mahathir had “stolen it (the Equanimity) right out from under them (the US) and flat-out lied about it”.

“In fact, Mahathir said on Aug 11: ‘… they said, if we want to keep it, we are entitled to it because this is ours and bought with stolen Malaysian money, and when we eventually sell the boat, we’re entitled to the proceeds’.”

He also noted that Attorney-General Tommy Thomas had said the seizure took place after “sensitive and delicate negotiations with the US”.

“Based on the DoJ’s filing, these are all lies.”

  2. Wakakakaka...Fatso is in a special Hell of his own creation.

No, no, I don't own Equanimity, so you can't ask me how I obtained the money to buy a Billion Ringgit Yacht.

But, but , I need to find a way to claim back my Equanimity, else a Billion Ringgit of my assets has gone up in flames like Pek Khim...

Who the fuck is this False Sok ?

In legal jargon, he has no Locus Standi to be jumping up and down like a monkey kena Belacan over Equanimity, because he has disavowed that he legally owns Equanimity.

He cannot legally own up to ownership, because that would open up the floodgates of serious criminal investigations into the source of his funds to buy the Billion Ringgit toy.

  3. Wakakaka...transactions between nations are often carried out with a nudge and a wink....

The US Government appointed crew, and the US Government's representative in Indonesia did not raise a single pip, when Indonesia handed the yacht over to Malaysia.

Of course, to preserve the proper legal form , the DOJ has to say in US court "We don't know nothing" about the yacht's handover to the Malaysian government.

The criminal investigation over 1MDB still hangs like a Sword of Democles over Jho Low, both in Malaysia and the US. He may remain free for while yet, as a perpetual fugitive, unable to travel to any country where the US or Malaysia may have extradition treaties with - and that is a lot of countries.

  4. I wonder whether Fei Sok realises his actual state he is in currently and what is slowly evolving around him.

    1. His protector and partners in crimes are no more in power and most of them are facing criminal charges or will be once all the investigations are completed and charges laid in courts whether here in Malaysia or any other country where their banks or companies are involved in the 1MDB scandal.

    2. The stakes are even higher (which may include his/family lives) once it involves certain any country's leaders or high officials. This is because of a simple age old advise that when the chips are down, a fallguy must be found for others to get off the hook or be able to plea bargain or acquitted due to not enough evidences.

    3. No country can afford protection once it involves deciding between National interests and individual interests for National interests will always take priority no matter whatever an individual has done or contributed in the past.

    4. Saving your assets from the clutches of any sovereign nation is always a losing battle and should be the least of your worries when the chips are down. Getting or employing assets should only be deployed to get the best lawyers to do plea bargaining for a lesser sentence.

Fei Sok should sit down and contemplate whether to:

    1. Plea bargain by betraying his partners in crime so that they are put away for good and save his/family own lives besides perhaps getting a lesser punishment and a chance of another life.

    2. Look for another most corrupted leader or country where "Cash is King" and can give him asylum for life.

The choice is pretty hard and tough but may not be so once Fei Sok knows how to save himself by squealing first before the tide turns towards his partners who are all still busy now hiding or fending off investigations or charges.

Time is slowly running out for Fei Sok.

Wakakaka....Fatso's buddy says no proof Equanimity belongs to Jho Low.

So...why is Fatso jumping up and down like a monkey kena Belacan?

Why is Ktemoc foaming in the mouth on the issue ?
