Human remains found in wheel well of US plane after flight from Kabul, Air Force says
Desperate civilians cling to the moving plane as it takes flight in Kabul.
The US Air Force is investigating the circumstances surrounding human remains that were found in the wheel well of one of its aircraft that flew out of Kabul amid the chaos of the Taliban taking over the Afghan capital.
"Faced with a rapidly deteriorating security situation around the aircraft, the C-17 crew decided to depart the airfield as quickly as possible," the statement said.In a statement, the Air Force said that a C-17 aircraft landed at Kabul's airport on Monday and was surrounded by hundreds of Afghan civilians.
It added that the Air Force's Office of Special Investigation was reviewing information about the aircraft and the "loss of civilian lives to include video documentation and the source of social media posts".
It comes after Images circulated on social media earlier this week of Afghans desperate to leave Kabul rushing toward a C-17 and clinging to its side.
A separate video showed what appeared to be two people falling from a military plane as it flew out of Kabul.
At least seven people died in the chaos, US officials said on Monday, as America's longest war ended with its enemy the victor.
The crowds of people rushing the airport came as the Taliban enforced their rule over the wider capital after a lightning advance across the country that took just over a week and dethroned the country's Western-backed government.

???!!
Those poor Afghans r the one that have helped yr uncle Sam in carrying out his evil plans of Mideastern geopolitics. They r fearing for retributions from the Taliban even though clemency to all Afghans has been declared by the winning Taliban after entering Kabul.
They know WHAT they have been doing!
At the fall of the day, they r not even equal to those military dogs that the Yankee brought to Afghanistan. Those dogs were given seats on the leaving c17 as shown in the CNN reports while the Afghans had to jostle to climb aboard the plane w/o success.
Tells u how much the Yank valued their services & lifes!
Oooop… u should watch the BBC news broadcast hosted by Alda Hakim, an Ozzied Afghan, when the Taliban phoned in to interrupt her twisted news on Taliban entering Kabul.
