You’re just as much a traitor, they remind him

KUALA LUMPUR – Former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin once again faces public criticism and repeated reminders of his “betrayals” after taking credit for the Federal Court’s decision yesterday to uphold Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s conviction.
PKR’s Setiawangsa MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad labelled the Pagoh MP as someone who tends to take credit for someone else’s work.
He quipped that if the situation was set in school, Muhyiddin would be the type to take credit for other people’s projects.
“He might have contributed at first, but then went on to ruin that project.
“However, if they get an ‘A’ for that, surely he will come back to claim it as his,” he tweeted.
In addition, Kota Anggerik assemblyman Mohd Najwan Halimi called Muhyiddin the father of “scheme of things” who bribes others with positions and is now claiming to be an “anti-graft fighter”.
Muhyiddin drew backlash after posting a statement yesterday, claiming that he had never wavered in upholding the truth despite being removed from his senior positions in the government and Umno.
Meanwhile, Facebook users, in reply to Muhyiddin’s post, poured scorn, with Syed Shah Syed Osman saying the former prime minister should not forget that Najib was among the politicians who supported Muhyiddin as prime minister.
“Now you want to claim this. When you were appointed as prime minister, Najib supported you. Do not forget about that.”
Another Facebook user, Aiman Athirah Al Jundi, blamed Muhyiddin for apparently putting the country in a worse position with his “scheme of things”.
“We have fought bribery and abuse of power for so long. You would not be where you are now if you did not cooperate with Pakatan Harapan then.
“Tan Sri, please be reminded that traitors do not have supporters; traitors will be betrayed.”
Of the 10,000 comments, many of them reminded Muhyiddin that he was part of the group who brought about the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government, and was later “betrayed” and removed as prime minister.

Told you his exaltation at Najib's conviction nauseated me as he's no better than Najib. It's not unlike the pot calling the kettle black, more so when he has been a traitor par notoriety. He should join Najib in Kajang.
