This is annoying, to KEEP hearing people (mis)use god's name. God should be revered, not made use of.
Poor Bloke upstairs wishes His creations would stop being impertinent, whether His creations are Rosmah Mansor, Zakir Naik, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews and those who subscribe to the belief in god.
Amen.

All prayers, hopes, wishes all reach the same great Cloud-server in the Sky, regardless which "Department" you belong to. They just get assigned to different Inboxes.
ReplyDeleteThere is Even the "Atheist" Mail box, which is squeezed between "Santa Claus" and "Tooth Fairy", sited in the "Bullshit" disc sector.
The Great Cloud Server does process wishes and answers - some of them, there is enough evidence over the ages.
The trick is getting past the Spam filter. That is a Rules-based Bot, totally impersonal. The Cloud Server either does not or cannot intervene over the rejected messages.
Over the last 4,000 years, many have claimed they know the secret and the rules of getting past the Spam filter. The problem is that is a one-way filter. Nobody has ever come back to confirm.
Even the Easter incident of 1 A.D. is a wee bit doubtful....

The claim that the Aramaic/ Hebrew / Arab Amen & Amin refers to the Egyptian deity Amon is Bullshit.
We are fortunate to have many examples of ancient written Aramaic as well as Ancient Egyption text. Not on paper, of course, but inscriptions on walls and dug up pottery and burnt clay tablets.
The written word for the Aramaic & other sub-languages for Amen/Amin is totally different from the Egyptian Amun.
Rosie the Pontianak pretending to be pious is such a Fucking Fake.
She should stick to her Birkin bags and flawless Jacob & Co. diamonds. At least those are completely genuine.
Your cock-talk in "There is Even the "Atheist" Mail box, ..." bespeaks your obsession in opposing em for that sake per se, wakakaka
DeleteAmen was inherited and kept by the so-called Hebrews when they were expelled from Egypt.
There is no connection between Aramaic alphabet and Egyptian hieroglyphs so don't talk nonsense about Amen (or Amun) being different in each language
The level of scholarship supporting the theory Aramaic Amen = Egyptian Amun-Ra is so thin it is ignored by mainstream historians.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
DeleteAnd unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God ..." - Revelation 3:13-14 (KJV)
Now, who was it who saith 'these things'? wakakaka
actually, one of your god's name is the Amen, the faithful and true witness. Don't believe, ask your pastor or if you're Catholic your padre, wakkaka again
