Boi-Boi - O My Papa

Mukhriz Mahathir says Muhyiddin Yassin has failed to curb the spread of Covid-19 despite the biggest budget in the nation’s history and Emergency powers to fight the pandemic.

PETALING JAYA: Appointing someone who has failed to manage the Covid-19 pandemic effectively to head the National Recovery Council is wrong, says Pejuang.

Its president, Mukhriz Mahathir, said Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has failed to lead the country out of the pandemic in a safe and systematic manner.

Thus, his appointment as chairman of the council is not acceptable.

“The National Recovery Council can only succeed if it does not involve leaders from the government that has failed to control the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said in a statement today.

He said Pejuang’s proposal to set up the council differed from the one set up by the government, as it had called for this body to take over the executive powers to handle the pandemic from the government and be answerable directly to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

“Pejuang chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad last week proposed a National Recovery Council to be run by experts and professionals, and without any political interference.

“But with Muhyiddin heading the council, it is no longer relevant,” he said in a statement today.

Furthermore, he said Muhyiddin had been given the biggest federal budget in the nation’s history to fight Covid-19 and had also advised the King to declare an Emergency to fight the pandemic.

“Instead, the Perikatan Nasional government did things as it pleased, without being answerable to Parliament and the Federal Constitution.”

He said Muhyiddin still failed to control the health crisis, causing much hardship and the number of suicides to increase.

“How can the rakyat place their hopes on the council if it is headed by a leader who has failed to curb the spread of Covid-19?”

  2. Ha ha..boi-boi in a tizzy to see the backdoor PM screw his papa.

Whether it is the PN government or the so-called Recovery Council, both are illegitimate.

But good for Muhyiddin - for his pre-emptive move to prevent the old buffoon from making him (Muhyiddin) a eunuch.

  3. I think a non-Malay Chair would be best. Since in Malay-sia we accept racism, no non-Malay can ever be PM. So Malays would not feel threatened if say Kit Siang is Chair of Recovery Council.....it would be impossible for him to rampas kuasa and become PM...ha ha ha

  4. First job for the new Chairman is to announce a re-cucuk of all the Puchong-mali Sinovacs with proper ones. Those 12 million doses are simply as waste of time and effort, except for Pharmaniaga.

    1. Wakakakakaka…

Not only those Puchong-mali Sinovacs but also those bangi-mali AZ/Pfizer vaccines.

Origin &/or fake, the first cut MUST be ketuanan-ised to the delay elites!
