PAS veep says 'not difficult' to be PM if one has the right team

PAS MUKTAMAR | A PAS vice president today likened the act of becoming a prime minister to being a homeowner, saying neither role is difficult with the right vision and assistance from a capable team.

Nik Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah, who is also the Kelantan deputy menteri besar pointed to the current administrations of three PAS-led states - Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah.

“They had no experience but with the right policies and visions, they can lead. Because there are people saying PAS can't govern Malaysia.

“I always say, it is not difficult to be a prime minister, a prime minister is like a landlord,” he said in a speech to officiate the PAS non-Muslim supporters wing (DHPP) gathering in Sungai Petani, Kedah, today.

“A homeowner has money but he will not be building his own house.

“No one builds their own house, they will call an architect to design the plan. Once the design is completed, the architect will call a contractor and others.

“Finally, a house will be completed without the owner actually building it,” he described.

In the context of PAS, Mohd Amar (above) insisted that the party has the “best vision” for Malaysia if given a chance to lead the federal government.

He said this in urging DHPP members to help counter an allegedly negative perception of PAS among non-Muslim voters, including in Kelantan.

‘Lee Kuan Yew assured by PAS’

Earlier in his speech, Mohd Amar recalled a three-day visit by Singapore's first prime minister, the late Lee Kuan Yew, to Kelantan.

He said there was a meeting between Lee and then Kelantan menteri besar, the late Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, who was also PAS’ spiritual advisor at the time.

Mohd Amar said Lee made his own observations and Nik Aziz had at the time reassured that PAS’ overall stand towards Singapore and ethnic Chinese - if elected into federal power - will remain as what has been practised harmoniously in Kelantan.

“If he (Lee) is still alive today, maybe he will vote for PAS or join DHPP,” Mohd Amar quipped.

The DHPP was formed in 2010 as PAS’ response to its then-growing influence among the non-Malays.

  1. Another day, another clown shooting his mouth.

Without a doubt, LKY had a very high opinion of the late Tok Guru because of his (Tok Guru's) moderate stance and his personal piety which LKY saw as genuine.

(Side note: LKY did not bother to meet MM during the tour of Malaysian states. The old fool was incensed and called LKY, the Little Emperor)

Tok Guru did not hanker for the trappings that a MB is entitled to. Remember he lived in his own house despite the fact he could have moved to the MB official residence if he wanted.

But now with the toxic Hadi propagating his brand of extreme islam, even Tok Guru would have been appalled at Hadi.

And you can be sure, LKY would not condone nor give credibility to the PAS of today, if he is still around.

But, r there any of the 'right' stuffs within the zombieic lair besides all their voluntary craving for the illusive stuffs in that al-jennah?

The involuntary craving for that illusive al-jannah escapism is just too overwhelming for these mfers to think humanly.
