JAWI was a shameful bunch of lustful men who bullied, ogled and abused young ladies at the Zouk Club in 2005 where it was reported they even threatened non-Muslims and assaulted & severely beat up members of the Club's staff.
The BBC reported:
More than 100 plainclothes officers from the Federal Territories Islamic Department (JAWI) detained young Muslims at the Zouk nightclub.
Female detainees complained of sexual harassment by officers and the incident has led to a heated debate about the department's future.
Eyewitnesses have now told the BBC that officers assaulted and severely beat members of the club's staff.
The sources also said that non-Muslim patrons, including tourists, who were outside the officers' jurisdiction, also reported being threatened with violence.
"Up to 150 of them came in," one witness said. "They didn't identify themselves, they didn't show any ID cards. They just forced their way in and started pushing people around."
In the days after the raid it emerged that dozens of young women were held for up to 10 hours without access to a toilet, long after male detainees had been released.
A number of women said religious officers ordered them to pose in their nightclub outfits while others were asked lewd questions about their genitalia.
That's JAWI, a notorious bunch of women-bullying and old man-bullying lustful thugs, with salaries paid by probably tax revenue derived from non-Muslims.
Minister Jamil Khir must proved that Siti Kasim had insulted the sacrosanct religion of Islam per se which is not the same as telling off mortal beings such as JAWI officers, ulamaks, other Muslims and even the minister himself.

I hold Najib accountable for the extremist Islamist actions being carried out by his administration.

Article 3 of our FC is very clear - "other religions may be practised in peace and harmony". Further, the Qur'an says, "there is no compulsion in religion".

But come what may, if one considers Qur'an/hadith/sunnah is not relevant please don't expect me to praise and applaud one's power of imagination, eloquence, and intelligence.
"Islam is the religion of the Federation"; our Penal Code (Act 574) Section 298/298A is clear, which says, whosoever, insults or attempts to insult the religion shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the law.

FC states Islam - meaning its very basic of Quranic teachings, nothing more, nothing less.
Hadith/sunnah r 2nd handed hearsays, hence ARE not the principal doctrines subscribed in Quran, thus Islam.

R those who insisting on adding hadith/sunnah to expand Qoranic doctrines, insulting the Islam?
