This seems strange because Dr Noor has, over a year of providing advice, guidance and even instructions to the Malaysian public on managing the Coivd-19 pandemic, developed into a very popular public hero. He is much respected, adored and even worshipped for his cool calm and collected pearls of wisdom which have greatly assuaged the anxieties, concerns and fears of the Malaysian public. He becomes a figure of assurance.
Arguably, if he were to stand as a political candidate he can be confident of a sure-win in any election. But of course the fact that he is a public servant (and not a politician), albeit a very senior one, has enhanced his respectability, credibility and persona.
So why have there been these criticisms of Dr Noor lately? The most vicious one has been by YB Bintulu, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing - (I needn't revisit those hurtful and unfair insults, but if you're interested in guttersnipe utterances, please read Francis Paul Siah's article in Malaysia titled: Bintulu MP's tirade against Health DG a 'classless' act).
Of course you can depend on sh*t-stirring KHAT Sial to leap in, exploit the unhappy event, and to make conspiracy theories out of Tiong's accusation against Dr Noor - see The (DAP) Rocket's Was Bintulu MP speaking on behalf of the Health Minister?
For more reliable information, a matey informed me that the tide turned somewhat against Dr Noor when he was purportedly seen to be supporting the medical allocations in the new PN budget, which to non-PN supporter reeks of nonsensical programs.
Whether the budget is so bad or otherwise wouldn't be the issue but merely the act of Dr Noor supporting it has been perceived as n act of betrayal by his devoted supporters.
For a start, many of these jokers (I can't be more kind that this, wakakaka) have the brazen temerity to assume Dr Noor is with them in the anti-PN group.
Brothers and sisters, just a reminder, Dr Noor is a civil servant, an apolitical gentleman, meaning he doesn't take political sides.
Secondly, Dr Noor as a civil servant, whether he likes it or not, is constitutionally obliged to support the budget, just as HM the Agong, whether He likes it or not, is constitutionally obliged to deliver the Royal Address which is nothing more than the ruling government's (not the Agong's) plan to run the nation - yes, in 'Kerajaan Beta' fashion, contrary to what Wan Ahmad Fayhsal (Bersatu Youth Chief) has foolishly and hubristically come to believe.
(for why he's considered a political dimwit by the Malaysian political world, please read Malaysians Must Know the Truth's Deputy minister mocked for trotting 'kerajaan beta' in royal address).
Thus I have to say the criticisms against Dr Noor in unfounded, unfair and reckless.
10 cases a day of course hero, 1000 cases a day still no criticism? this dg is useless, dumb n shd pack along with that equally useless backdoor pm.
ReplyDeleteRecommend this dg to learn from Chen Shih-chung (ι³ζδΈ)!
ReplyDeleteInstantly, bolihland covid statistics would be 'world class.

DeleteAs been propagated within a fart filled well populated by demoNcratized katak on heat!
DeleteThat is the problem with our giving Datuks and Tan Sris too early. Even someone in their 20s can be Datuk. After receiving the titles they feel like they owe the establishment their loyalty, they become the dirty political establishment. Some even worse, they feel they can do no wrong, start bullying others and talking bullshit. Hisham should have politely declined. I wonder if Hisham will accept the title today, seeing how many cases have blown up. Or will he even be offered.
ReplyDeleteDon't get me wrong, he did an excellent job before becoming TS (not me ha ha ha), but everything went downhill after getting TS. See what he said about the Sabah elections....

No need to postpone Sabah polls, situation still under control — Health D-G
Bernama
September 23, 2020
PUTRAJAYA (Sept 22): The Sabah State election need not be postponed as long as the standard operating procedure (SOP) is strictly implemented, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
And that, he said, included making it compulsory for symptomatic voters and those undergoing quarantine to seek the approval of the District Health Office first before being allowed to cast their votes.
He said this when commenting on the public’s concern over the spike in new COVID-19 positive cases in the State, which he described as still being under control.

I like DAP practice of rejecting titles while still in active politics. See Guanee and his father, if they had accepted Dato or TS when they were in gomen, as is the accepted practice, all Ministers automatically awarded, now they are back in opposition they can still hentam the backdoor gomen. How many DAP ex-Ministers or ex-Deputies accepted titles? I believe NONE.
ReplyDeleteBut people like Rina Harun (who?) became Datuk Seri just months after becoming first time MP and Minister. Same for Menteri Kereta Terbang, Kasut Hitam etc.
