U.S. Grand Display Of Hypocrisy, Corruption & Abuse Of Power – President Biden Pardons His Son Hunter Of Crimes

December 2nd, 2024 by financetwitter

As recently as November 8, days after Donald Trump’s victory, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre rubbished a pardon or clemency for President Biden’s son, Hunter. She said – “We’ve been asked that question multiple times. Our answer stands, which is no”. In June, at the G7 summit in Italy, Joe Biden personally said – “I said I’d abide by the jury decision, and I will do that. And I will not pardon him.”

Of course, we were about to see the grand display of lies, hypocrisy, abuse of power and whatnot of the United States of American on December 1, 2024 when Joe Biden made a spectacular U-turn and shamelessly pardoned his son – just days before he was due to be sentenced for his conviction of three felonies on federal gun charges on December 12, which could see him slap up to 25 years in prison.

But that was not the only crime Hunter had committed. He pleaded guilty to nine counts of federal tax fraud (failing to pay his taxes on time from 2016 to 2019, as well as two felony counts of filing a false return and an additional felony count of tax evasion) on September 5, which could see the son of the U.S. president facing up to 17 years in prison.

Together, Hunter Biden faces a maximum prison sentence of 42 years for the 12 counts he is convicted of or has pleaded guilty. However, the maximum sentences are not expected to be given out for convictions of these crimes. The Justice Department has said that while the tax charges carry a maximum sentence of 17 years, sentences are typically less than that.

To justify his abuse of power, the POTUS has offered an excuse – “I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics have infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”

Essentially, in a reversal that has made the U.S. a laughing stock, the president used his executive authority to issue a “full and unconditional pardon” for any offenses Hunter Biden has “committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.” Blaming his political opponents for trying to “break” him by going after Hunter was both lame and laughable.

While it’s understandable that as a father there was no way the president would do nothing to save his son, he should not practice hypocrisy by saying one thing, but does another thing altogether as recent as June, when Hunter was convicted. Even as of last week, White House spokesperson Andrew Bates had denied when asked whether the president is still committed to not granting clemency for his son.

Worse, even First Lady Jill Biden has lied through her teeth when she said her husband would not pardon their son. “Joe and I both respect the judicial system, and that’s the bottom line,” – she said in an interview in June. The entire family lied because Sleepy Joe, who was campaigning for re-election, will definitely lose if the secret plan to pardon Hunter was revealed.

Accusing the president of lying about everything, Representative James Comer, chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, said – “Joe Biden has lied from start to finish about his family’s corrupt influence peddling activities. Not only has he falsely claimed that he never met with his son’s foreign business associates and that his son did nothing wrong, but he also lied when he said he would not pardon Hunter Biden.”

For years, Republicans have attacked Hunter over his dubious foreign business dealings and accused him and the president of working hand-in-glove in corruption. They have also argued that Hunter was getting special treatment by the Justice Department because of his father’s political power. Eventually, he pleaded guilty in a deal with federal prosecutors over the tax and gun charges.

The junior Biden got into trouble when Joseph Ziegler, an IRS case agent who became a whistleblower in the Hunter Biden tax probe, told NBC News last year that he opened the investigation himself after seeing bank records that suggested Hunter Biden was paying prostitutes and spending lavishly out of a corporate bank account. Ziegler said it was not about politics as he is a gay man and is a Democrat.

In fact, not only the U.S. president told reporters he would abide by the jury’s decision, but the Commander-in-Chief also said – “I’m extremely proud of my son Hunter. He has overcome an addiction. He’s one of the brightest, most decent men I know, and I am satisfied that I’m not going to do anything. I said I abide by the jury decision. I will do that, and I will not pardon him.”

With the specially crafted pardon explicitly grants clemency to Hunter Biden’s crimes committed “from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024”, it means his entire tenure on the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma and much of his other overseas work, including in China, will be swept under the carpet. Crucially, President Biden was contradicting himself.

On one hand, he claims to believe in the justice system. Yet, on other hand, he accused the same justice system to be infected, which could lead to miscarriage of justice. Can he make up his mind whether he has faith in the U.S. justice system or not? If his son was “selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,” from the beginning, it means the justice system is corrupted and cannot be trusted.

Therefore, the American justice system is either clean (which means President Biden has abused his power by pardoning his crooked son) or corrupted (which means the justice system is broken, untrustworthy and an insult to the U.S.) – just pick one. Joe Biden can’t claim Hunter was “singled out” when his son had already pleaded guilty in September to nine tax offenses.

It’s not rocket science that Hunter was not only a druggie, but also a criminal for evading US$1.4 million in taxes while spending lavishly on escorts, strippers, alcohol and cars, not to mention in possession of a gun. In truth, the president wanted to erase the humiliation that Hunter would become the first child of a sitting president to be a convicted of a crime.

True, this is not the first time a U.S. president has pardoned a member of their family, which has tainted the country known as a beacon of hope. Bill Clinton pardoned his younger half-brother, Roger Clinton, for a 1985 cocaine-related offence in 2001. In 2020, Donald Trump pardoned Charles Kushner, the father-in-law of his daughter Ivanka. But just because others had done it, does not mean Biden must abuse his power too.

More importantly, a president has never pardoned his own son before – until now. Besides, it is “highly unusual” for a president to pardon someone before they are sentenced for a federal offence. Yes, it was Biden who told all and sundry in June that he was “satisfied” that his son had received a fair trial, only for him to change his story after Thanksgiving on Sunday that Hunter had been the subject of “a miscarriage of justice”.

During the election, the Democrats presented themselves as the guardians of morality, with Biden praising Kamala Harris for having the “moral compass of a saint”. Now, with the election over and Harris lost to Trump, Joe Biden’s promise six months ago not to interfere in the justice system has been thrown out of the window at lightning speed. The U.S. hypocrisy is simply breathtaking.

The olde coot is a very very very evil man, being very very very complicit in a modern-day genocide where babies have been sacrificed daily to an olde Joo-ish god who relishes child sacrifices since the murder of innocent babies (first-born) during the Last Passover in Egypt. Abraham and Jephthah both sacrificed their respective child to this evil god.

From one of my previous posts
Did Abraham sacrifice Ishmael or Isaac?

we get to read the following (only an extract):

But you know, regardless of whether it was Ishmael or Isaac who was sacrificed by Abraham, the boy was killed.

There was no angel interceding at the very last minute a la the US 7th Calvary to save the human sacrifice. Biblical scholars believe Abraham sembileh his son. And if the son was the 'only son' then it would have been Ishmael. But on the other hand it could well be Isaac.

Richard Elliott Friedman, a biblical scholar and the Ann & Jay Davis Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Georgia was one of at least two (Jewish) biblical authors who told us what had likely happened to Isaac or Ishmael. The other biblical scholar has been Tzemah Yoreh.

Putting aside for a moment the argument whether it was Ishmael or Isaac who was the human sacrifice, Friedman wrote his seven reasons why he believes Abraham killed his son at the sacrificial altar, as follows:

  1. Bidin was roundly criticised for his Pardon action, and rightly so.
    The fact is -he can.
The power to Pardon is one of the few areas of US Presidential power that has no Constitutional limitations attached. He can Pardon anyone , for any Federal crime.

In FinanceTwitter's Fave countries China and Russia, you can be 100% certain no person in Xi or Putler's inner circle will ever get close to any prosecution, let alone be charged, convicted and need to be pardoned.
    They are all PURRFECT.
