The mark of David

And it came to pass at eventide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house; and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said: 'Is not this Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?'

And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness; and she returned unto her house.

And the woman conceived; and she sent and told David, and said: 'I am with child.' (II Samuel 11:2-5)

While Uriah, a loyal general of King David, was fighting a battle for his liege lord, his liege lord back in the comfort and safety of the palace was bonking Bathesheba, Uriah’s beautiful wife.

Having made her pregnant, David attempted to cover up his evil act by recalling Uriah from the battlefield, in a hope he (Uriah) would sleep with Bathesheba. No DNA test in those days so David hoped for the perfect cuckold.

But despite a number of efforts by despicable David, the poor cuckold general was spiritually chaste to his combat role, refusing to lie down with a woman, even his own wife, not when the Ark and the Israeli army were out in the field in operational mode.

"WTF! F-the battle. Go f-your wife, idiot, you f-ing up my plans" David thought, "This f-ing calls for Plan B. I'll f-him for good."

So David decided to eliminate the trustworthy brave chaste but naive general. The biblical Machiavelli signed the death warrant for the general that was, most cruelly, delivered by the unsuspecting general’s own hand.

And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

And he wrote in the letter, saying: 'Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.'

And it came to pass, when Joab kept watch upon the city, that he assigned Uriah unto the place where he knew that valiant men were.

And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab; and there fell some of the people, even of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.
(II Samuel 11:14-17)

When David heard Bathesheba’s hubby was killed as he planned, he said to the messenger "Tough luck. Sh*t happens, but keep fighting. I have some serious bonking here to do"

The next day he had the widow brought to him. All kow tim. He kept Bathesheba for his own pleasure.

Then David said unto the messenger: 'Thus shalt thou say unto Joab: Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth in one manner or another; make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it; and encourage thou him.'

And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she made lamentation for her husband.

And when the mourning was past, David sent and took her home to his house, and she became his wife, and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased HaShem.
(II Samuel 11:25-27)

King David broke HaShem's (God’s) commandment of not coveting the wife of one’s neighbour.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. (Exodus 20:17)

David is of course the hero of Israel, and his symbol, the Star of David, is the symbol of modern day Israel. I dare say that symbol is not unlike what Christians call the mark of Cain, a symbol of evil, jealous hatred, covetousness and murderous intent.

So it’s hardly surprising modern day Israel does what its hero did, stealing its neighbour’s property by sinister means. Read this as just one recent example of Israel’s unmitigated evil.

KTemoc is not a religious bloke but I sometimes wonder about the divine warnings in Micah 2:1-3

Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks, neither shall ye walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.

Think HaShem might do something to stop further raping of the Palestinians?

  2. Hi KT,
I guess I am one of those very conflicted individuals who think that Israel is behaving terribly in the Occupied Territories and Lebanon AND also firmly support Israel's right to exist within its internationally recognized borders.
I used to read and understand the Middle East conflict totally through the eyes of our government controlled press, which is essentially anti-Israel. Some years ago I worked closely with an Israeli citizen on a job-related project. He can't come to Malaysia, of course, but he was an expatriate in a neighboring country that has diplomatic relations with Israel. I did get a point of view which you will never read in the mainstream press.
20% of Israel’s population is Arab, and they are full citizens. In a nation which defines itself as Jewish, there’s obviously a lot of unofficial discrimination. But they have full citizenship rights and they serve loyally in the Israeli army. Essentially 20% of Israel’s army is Arab Muslim.
At its narrowest point, Israel’s internationally recognized territory is less than the width of Penang Island, and it is flat land. A tank could drive across in 30 minutes, a car in less than 10. And a majority of Israel’s neighbours (and Hamas , which currently controls the Palestinian authority) still have the destruction of the state of Israel as its official policy. As long as this exists, Israel will continue to have a highly militarized state.
My friend, who is basically a non-political engineer agrees that Israel has to learn to behave in a civilized manner towards its neighbours and slowly withdraw from the occupied territories. But to those who call for the destruction of Israel…..dream on…

  3. I'm amazed by the efficientcy of these zionist propoganda workers. Every time you post a not so friendly article about jews and zionist, you can always be sure someone will come here to offer some sound bites with the same format:

    1. Offer some nice "facts" about Isreal
    2. Give a little lips service on how Isreal could be more humane
    3. Bad mouth the enemies
    4. and then reaffirm undying support for the zionist

I'll use the same format to refute the zionist.

    Some facts:
    1. Isreal has a triangle shape, of course the narrowest part would be very narrow, no need to compare with Penang island. At the narrowest part, West Bank is only 1 KM in length.

    2. Only 1.53% of the Isreali army are Arab Muslims and they're assigned "menial" duties like guarding, admin work, the rest (2.76%) work as janitors and cleaners.

    Some Concessions:
Yes, Palestines have not been very civilized in their fight to regain their motherland. They should have been more gentle and observe more frequently the Geneva convention.

    Why's Isreal is worse:
But the Isrealies treat them like dogs, demolished their houses, grab their land, destroy their means of livelihood and rape their women. The Isrealis torture their enemies and practice assasinations. Now if your neigbouring country did this to you, would you say please and thankyou to them or would you try your best to eliminate the "pests".

Support the Palestines and some scare tactics:
God is just, evil never last. Their enjoying seemingly good life now is to serve as an example to others later. When the end comes, it would be cruel and terrible. The way they've been treating other, the same will come back to them many fold. Those who've colluded with them, thinking that Jesus during the the so called second coming, will praise them for their duplicity, for ignoring the commandment to love others; will suffer the same fate as the zionists.

OK that's enough. For this site to receive such "knowledgeble" comments, I guess it must have been tacked the the zionist propoganda teams such as http://www.giyus.org/

For more info on Christian Armageddon heros wannabes trying to suck up to Jesus via Jews, here's one of their website: http://www.cufi.org/

Let us all pray for the day when the world will be rid of these scums of humanity. Ramen...

  4. The Israeli-Zionist pen is mightier than the Arab sword (or their emotional but useless gestures of firing their guns into the air, watsing good bullets.

The Palestinians must play the intellectual/media game and win the moral, political and financial support of the world, particularly the Europeans, since their Arab so-called compatriots are all acting dunno.
