Uthayakumar suffers the evils of ISA

Malaysiakini - Uthaya got a beef with his chicken sambal!

F* the by-elections! This is far more disturbing if the Malaysiakini report can be verified.

Based on this report, it would appear that the Home Minister is not only detaining a very ill man under the draconian ISA, …

… a man who also suffers a worsening condition for his painful fractured toe but is still denied his choice of private health treatment, and who isn’t provided with a diet appropriate for his diabetic problems …

… but he (the Minister) has vicariously violated the man’s religious belief.

Uthayakumar is a Hindu who abstains from beef because of his religious belief in the same manner Muslims do not take pork. Yet, according to the Malaysiakini news report, he has been served beef at the Kamunting Detention Camp where he is being held.

Uthaya stated in a report: “I was served chicken sambal with rice. I (saw) what looked like beef pieces in the chicken sambal.”

“When I checked with detainees working in the kitchen, they confirmed that the beef sambal and chicken sambal were cooked in the same pot. (The chicken was) dished out and put on separate tray and served to me.”

Why is there such a disrespect for Uthaya’s religious belief and disregard for his health?

Why are Indians in particular treated so harshly? WTF has the MIC done?

Surely you know better than to believe RPK's bull.
    It really defies logic.
BN has never disregard religous beliefs.

Beef sambal and chicken sambal ?
Is it Beef curry and chicken curry ?
    Sambal is chili paste !

a man who also suffers a worsening condition for his painful fractured toe but is still denied his choice of private health treatment but he was given medical attention at the hospital and am told he was admitted 11 times for medical treatment but of course lah choice of private health treatment was not given , if they had , the first person to protest would have been the pharoah as when he was interned he was also not given private medical treatment .

  4. Hi Chaptokam

Do you sometimes wonder why people aligned to PKR or Hindraf suddenly fell ill when they are under the ISA.
Is is feigning illness or they are rally sick and in need of medical treatment?
Do they want to gain symnpathy from the people who will blame the government for cruelty.
When they are out, they are suddenly healthy.
Do you hear Umno or Pas supporters taken ill after being detained under the ISA?

You hit the nail on the head !
First , they want to gain sympathy from their own kind and also from the public .This is to project an image that they are willing to sacrifice , to be be jailed , to die for a cause .
Second . to put the govt in bad light, so that the public will support their cause and blame the govt for all their problems and as you said cruelty or brutality as when and where the occasion arises .
Election time so its best I don't use superlatives to describe .

  6. Najib will say : I hear you, some of the stimulation fund recently announce would be used to build more detention camp. Current jail is not adequate to house so many trouble makers now is on the loose. I need a bigger jail with better facilities, the kitchen will be separated to serve the difference faith. We will hire more people as cook and also serve with those people with better food. With that I solve two problems, to contain troubles makers as well as to give job the the people that will also contain the economy from going down further..............wakakakakakakak

  7. It is very disrespectful to serves beef to a Hindu.
Not just to a Hindu but to Buddhist as well.
Does this means we can serves pork to a Muslim? let us ask the home minister if he is not too busy thinking of ways to put RPK back into kamunting.

"Do you sometimes wonder why people aligned to PKR or Hindraf suddenly fell ill when they are under the ISA."

Right, BN should simply admit the truth that this country is a joke of a democracy and simply shoot dissenters, the old-fashioned way! No more government lies about freedom of speech and savings for the taxpayers (i.e. more tax money can be diverted to some projek kroni BN) as Malaysian goulags could be closed.

Do not keep the ISA or the Emergency laws. Make them harsher!

Of course, selling Malaysia as a moderate and near-developed country overseas may be a harder-sell then, but that's the price to pay for the good of the BN... sorry I meant the good of the country.
