Faizal Azumu to defend Tambun seat from Anwar

PETALING JAYA: Bersatu deputy president Ahmad Faizal Azumu has confirmed that he will be defending his Tambun parliamentary seat in the 15th general election (GE15).
This means that the former Perak menteri besar is set to take on opposition leader and Pakatan Harapan chairman Anwar Ibrahim for the seat.
In a statement, Faizal said he was a native of Tambun, which meant it was his responsibility to continue serving the area.
“I welcome those who want to contest for the Tambun parliamentary seat,” said the caretaker youth and sports minister.
