LAHORE, (Pakistan): Two teenage sisters were arrested in Pakistan for killing their father by setting him on fire in revenge for rape, police said Wednesday (Jan 8).
The father was attacked in the Punjabi city of Gujranwala on January 1 and taken to hospital where he died on Tuesday.
"The girls said that they decided amongst themselves to find a 'permanent solution'," Rizwan Tariq, a senior police official in the city, told AFP.
They then took petrol from a motorcycle and set their father on fire as he slept, he added.
The pair, who are step-sisters, said their father had been raping the eldest girl for a year, and had twice attempted to rape the younger girl.
Their mothers -- who are both married to the man -- knew about the abuse but did not know of the revenge plan.
AFP has not named the man in order to protect the identities of the girls, one of whom is from a previous marriage.
One of the wives has also been arrested while the second is being questioned.
"We expect to present them before the court in a few days, as soon as we finish the investigation," Tariq added. - AFP

NEW😒: State Farm, one of the biggest insurers in California, canceled hundreds of homeowners' policies last summer in Pacific Palisades—the same area which is now being ravaged by a devastating wildfire.
The move was justified by the company as an attempt to avoid "financial failure" as the frequency and severity of wildfires is growing in the Golden State, especially in at-risk zones. But as the multiple fires currently burning through Southern California threaten to cause devastating losses for residents, many will likely need to rely on their insurers to get back on their feet after the blazes are contained.
Several private insurers have cut coverage in at-risk areas across California in the past three years, leaving homeowners scrambling to find options for coverage. As a result, California's FAIR Plan, which works as an insurer of last resort in the state, has more than doubled its policies between 2020 and 2024, reaching a total of 452,000, as reported by CapRadio.

ReplyDeleteRegardless of how you feel about Trump, it’s hard to ignore his knack for being right about things.
For years, Trump has been vocal about California’s dry forests and the abnormal amounts of fires. He tried to bring about a solution, and the Dems called him Hitler.
I wonder how many can they used the fire to burn down everything to destroy anything that may implicate them, rebuild and burn it down again. I got to know this possible angle back in Trump1.0, during one of the winter fire, which was terrible in itself, don't remember exactly which year, possibly in 2019 before c19 came for 2020. And when the q drops already hot and heavy spreading, albeit smaller crowd. Back then Getty complex was already engulfed in heavy flame and the same speculation was put out. Whether it is destroying evidence or not, this is a kind of fiery awakening for the people of California, in particular, the most free wheeling liberal, in LA. Will the severe evidence of despicable hidden exploitation came to light this time, only time will tell, despite the many speculation of it being broadcast publicly as part of the tribunal against the perpretators, only time will tell. For now, we in the public space can only look at each event being lined up for public consumption, as they appeared. Even Greenland. Even Canada. And whatever else. Regards.

I’m sure the location of the fires has nothing to do with destroying the evidence of sex crimes against children in SoCal.
Certainly not.

Tunnels and celebrity parties under The Getty Museum? You don’t say.
Isn’t that where Ally said she first met Biden?
Is this an evidence destroying fire? I vote yes.

ReplyDeleteBottom line on the California fires.
No matter how they started, the people who are paid by the residents of the nightmare zone to prevent and extinguish fires have failed because they are in their positions not for their qualification but because they check the right boxes.
It’s all fun and games until people start losing everything, including their lives, based on gross incompetence, greed and wokeism.
No insurance. No competence. No water. No forest management. Late evacuation notices.
Perhaps the fires weren’t preventable, but the carnage once they started is solely the fault of bad government.
Blood on their hands, nothing worthwhile in their heads.

ReplyDeleteCompletely unacceptable. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass FREEZES when asked why she cut $20 million in funding to fire fighters, or why she was vacationing in Africa instead of managing the disaster.
This is the look of someone utterly unfit for the enormity of her position. Rick Caruso should run it back. If there are fair elections, he'd win.

ReplyDeleteWe call Cali, “Commiefornia,” to be snarky, but what we’ve witnessed there is honestly closely reminiscent of Soviet style communism.
The wrong people get the big jobs and big benefits in exchange for party loyalty and loyalty to the propagandists and power brokers, then when the shit hits the fan, their incompetence and mismanagement wrecks the place.
While this fire is the height of human tragedy and cost, it is also going to shine a white hot light on the value of meritocracy over political nepotism.
Change may come to California from this horrible failure. The cost is very high, but the future may be brighter because of it.
Who is John Galt?
Wakaka..MAGA likes to demonise. "Commiefornia" but it is home to Silicon Valley, the largest concentration of high tech innovation in the world.....

ReplyDeleteEpic Adam Carolla rant from a hotel after the LA wildfires forced to evacuate from his home, where he predicts Hollywood leftists will be so frustrated by the rebuild effort that they will not vote Democrat:
"You guys all voted for Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles. You all voted for Gavin Newsom, and now you fucking get what you get. now that your house is on fire.
So here's what's going to happen. All these people who are deep blue Democrats are now going to have to pull a permit to rebuild, and they're going to get the 28 year old bitch from the Coastal Commission telling them to go f off and then they're going to vote for Trump or whoever's Trumpian next.
When they start getting the regulation, they're going to go nuts. And when they start running into the bureaucracy and the red tape, they're going to start going nuts and they're going to vote for Rick Caruso next time.
They're going to find out they're going to get bit by their own snake. They're going to convert. I am telling you, these are the bluest people on the planet and they're going to be f rip shit pissed when the City and the Coastal Commission tell them to f off.
We're going to have to restructure the whole thing because we can't have nine angry lesbians controlling everything that goes on in Malibu, the Palisades and Santa monica."
This is why Californians pay the highest taxes: So that their government can completely fail them in their time of need.
Right, did it knows it can money in x like the IMC?

Honourable mentions to British intellectuals Douglas Murray and Nile Gardener.
A former Twitter employee claims Musk is first tech leader to be “radicalised by his own product.”

ReplyDeleteBack in Trump1.0, during a sitting down presser, Trump suddenly grab a bottle of mineral water bottle clearly marked FIJI Water on the side, took a sip and then put it back down on the floor. Anons dug up the link to trafficling associated with Fiji. Did not follow through on it until this post. It was a very weird on Trump, those like Ezekiel, the prophet, did...
Gonna be interesting time.

California's Water Overlords Siphon Cash to Israel
One billionaire couple controls an astonishing amount of California’s water—and their deep ties to Israel cannot be overlooked.
Stewart and Lynda Resnick, with a combined net worth of $9 billion, quietly seized control of California’s water supply in 1994 through their company, Wonderful. Today, they consume over 150 billion gallons of water annually, even as working-class Californians face droughts, rising water costs, and severe restrictions.
The Resnicks own brands like FIJI Water, Pom Wonderful, Halos mandarins, and Wonderful Pistachios. Their agricultural empire is based in California’s Central Valley, where they grow water-intensive crops like almonds and pistachios while local communities struggle with water scarcity.
Ties to Israel:
• Major donors to Israel and its institutions, contributing millions to Friends of the IDF.
• $50 million to the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
• Lynda and Stewart Resnick Fellowship at the National Library of Israel.
• Partnering with Israeli companies like Netafim.
California’s Water Crisis:
The Resnicks acquired the Kern Water Bank—one of California’s largest water reserves—through a controversial privatization deal in 1994, gaining control of a resource meant to serve the public. As California’s drought worsens, their farms continue to expand, consuming vast amounts of water while local communities are left to ration and pay skyrocketing rates.
Their hoarding of water resources has dire consequences during California’s devastating wildfires, where shortages exacerbate the damage.
How in the world all get charred down to the bone?
