mutton curry lands eatery
in hot water
The shop owner was ordered to provide domestic trade officials with information on the costs related to the mutton curry dish in six working days.
After noticing a viral post on the unreasonably priced mutton curry, the ministry’s Kedah office dispatched an enforcement team to inspect the shop at 11am today, Bernama reported.
“The shop, owned by a local woman in her 40s, did have a menu for customers with prices on display there. Following the inspection, the eatery was issued a written notice under the Price Control and Anti Profiteering Act.
“The owner will need to provide information on the costs and sale prices relating to the mutton curry dish in six working days,” it said.
