DAP Youth's call for the prime minister to immediately dissolve Parliament as punishment for BN has been met with mockery from Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh.
Taking to Facebook, Akmal said Umno decided to go solo in the next Johor state election because the party leadership listened to Umno Youth's suggestion.
Hence, he challenged the DAP wing to make good on their word.
"Do not just make noise on social media but prove that DAP Youth's proposal for Parliament to be dissolved immediately is supported by your leaders.
"While at it, don't just stop at Parliament, but also withdraw your support from all the state governments you formed with BN.
"Withdraw (DAP's) support in Perak and Pahang. Then we can return the mandate to the rakyat and fight each other as gentlemen," Akmal said.

Yesterday, DAP Youth, in a statement, urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to dissolve Parliament immediately if Johor BN intends to contest the next state election alone.
They likened Johor BN's move to backstabbing and acting like “kacang lupakan kulit” (biting the hand that feeds them).
In response to the notion, Akmal fired back at DAP Youth, claiming it was Umno that helped Pakatan Harapan to form the federal government and bring political stability following the 2022 general election.
He added that the DAP wing should not be angry with Johor Umno's solo plan, as BN has never had any agreement requiring it to work with Harapan in any election.
"I also wish to remind you one more time, in case you have forgotten, that the government today was formed based on the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's decree to ensure stability, because there was no single political coalition that could form a simple majority (in the Dewan Rakyat)," Akmal said.
