PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin says a speech he delivered during the Nenggiri by-election campaign was not intended to insult the institution of the monarchy.
In a statement, the former prime minister also said his
speech was not meant to incite the public.factual
he said.I believe that my statement does not violate any of Malaysia’s laws,
I will provide full cooperation to the police to clarify the facts related to my speech.
In a ceramah during the Nenggiri by-election campaign, Muhyiddin claimed that

Moo, for all his years in politics, has not learnt the fundamental lesson that you can't directly confront Malay Royalty ( unless you are Mahathir...but he's a whole different level)
