House on fire: now, its Najib’s turn to dream
Ex-Umno president echoes Tan Sri Annuar Musa, Isham Jalil with cryptic talk of burning inheritance home

KUALA LUMPUR – After former Ketereh MP Tan Sri Annuar Musa and Umno information chief Isham Jalil, Datuk Seri Najib Razak has also shared one of his dreams.
Similar to Annuar and Isham, he too dreamt of a house. However, this time, there was a family with two old men, both of whom were not at home.
According to Najib, the particular house they were living in required some renovation work and the eldest brother, who was the leader of the house, called the family for a meeting.
“There were all kinds of opinions from the family members, but we must settle what needs to be done, which is to ensure the house is okay.
“Who will sleep in the first and second rooms, the living room and so on must be resolved,” he said in a Facebook posting.
Earlier, Annuar, who has since been sacked from Umno, posted that he had dreamt that his inheritance house was on fire, suspected due to a short circuit or a disconnected wire, and many had fled the property.
“I love the house. I tried to extinguish the flames to stop more from running away. When the fire was raging, many ran away, and suddenly I was pulled out from the flames.
“Now I can only watch the fire from the outside. Although I love the home very much, I can only pray to God and ask for help that the house is saved,” he wrote.
Isham, meanwhile, on his official Facebook page, said he, like Annuar, also had a dream last night.
“I dreamt that there were enemies within the party (api dalam sekam). The fire is going to burn our house down and we will lose our home and seek shelter at other people’s homes.
“That someone else was the one who started the fire and had long wanted to burn our house down and chase us out. Before our home goes down in flames, we need to get rid of the enemies from within.
“Then our home will be safe and our family will be happy. May Allah bless us all.”
Isham’s posting came soon after Annuar post.
Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has since confirmed that Annuar and two other divisional leaders had been sacked by the party.
He said the Umno Supreme Council made the decision based on Clause 10.6 of the party’s constitution, which gives the party the right to expel any of its members.
“Their sacking is effective immediately and the official letter for the expulsion will be sent out today,” he said, according to Berita Harian.
He also confirmed that the other two divisional leaders sacked are the Arau and Maran Wanita Umno chiefs, Datuk Seri Shamsiah Yasin and Datin Seri Fatimah Kassim.
Najib, a former prime minister and Umno president, went on to say that in his dream, there was a person in the house who was working with some relatives who were in line with his thinking and creating problems.
“They play with fireworks everyday... It is noisy. They do not help, but only make noise everyday,” he wrote without making reference to anyone in particular.
However, based on the recent turn of events, it is believed Najib was referring to Annuar as the one allegedly playing with fireworks.
One day, he said that particular person shouted “fire, fire”, but in fact, he was the one playing with fire and had wanted to light a bamboo cannon with his relatives.
“What else... the house burned down. The family which was having a meeting, came out to put out the fire and ensure it did not spread and worked to restore the house.
“There were still a host of things which needed to be resolved in the house... the issue of the door also needed to be settled now,” he wrote.
“At the time the family was busy laying cement, repairing the roof, and painting, the person was busy looking for an agent to sell our house. He was willing to accept millions for it, even (willing to) sell our ancestral land which he allegedly loved and lived on for years,” said Najib.
“Lastly, he just made up a sad story that he could only look at the house from outside the fence for now,” he added. – The Vibes, December 9, 2022
