US President Donald Trump officially renamed Lake Ontario to Lake America, seeing this as a dig at Canada. He said he next wants to rename an ocean with the word America, “either the Atlantic or the Pacific”.
Foreign secretary Marco Rubio said the US now considers all the Americas, including Latin America and Canada, to be quote “our hemisphere”.
Meanwhile, my suggestion to President Trump that Earth itself can be renamed Planet America got 21 likes.

Re-naming geographical features is very common by Bullies and Wannabees Alike.

Saudi Arabia has an Arabian Sea.
Yapan - Sea of Yapan
Lil ol Melaka - Selat Melaka.
Philippines calls the sea “West Philippines Sea”, Viet Nam calls it The “Eastern Sea” and Indonesia “Natuna Sea” but Eastern Bully draws Dashed Lines all over the place and names it South My Sea.
The Brahmaputra River in Yindia was re-named “Yarlung Zangbo” by Eastern Bully without consulting anyone.
Similarly The Indus River in Pakistan is re-named “Shiquan He”.
All these names are on Official Maps published by Eastern Bully, and ignoring protests from neighbouring countries. Even PMX was silent.
So Why Not Just A Lake of America? Isn’t Canada part of America?
They can rename Hudson Bay as Canada Bay. It’s all within their territory. And it’s bigger than all the Great Lakes combined.
