Let us forget partisan differences for a moment. Let us forget that Muhyiddin is from Bersatu and Anthony Loke is from Dap and Anwar is from PKR and Hadi is from Pas, and let's also forget the history of their relationship, by ignoring the fact that Muhyiddin is allied with Hadi but in opposition with Anthony Loke while Anthony Loke is allied with Anwar and in opposition with Muhyiddin.

Instead let us just try to investigate the question of what will be required to get Najib out of jail, merely by using the term ruling class and the common people as our frame of reference.

In this frame of reference, instead of seeing Muhyiddin, Anwar, Hadi or Anthony in terms of their party affiliation or relationship history, we shall group them all together into a category called the Ruling class.

The complement to the ruling class will then be us, the common people, and just as we ignored the differences in party affiliation and relationship in the ruling class, let us also forget the difference that we shall have amongst ourselves – let us ignore whether we are Malay or Chinese, Christian or Buddhist, employer or employee – and just see ourselves only as the common people.

Now seeing our country as being composed of only the common people and the ruling class, let us now see what is the current status of relationship that we, the common people, have with the ruling class?

For this thesis, I am going to postulate that the relationship between the common people and the ruling class in Malaysia is currently not only not positive, it might as well be quite negative.

Ideally, the relationship between the ruling class and the common people is positive only when the ruling class is seen to be leading the common people forward. The assumption here is that the ruling class knows the way forward because they are in a forward position, but rather than continue to go forward on their own, the ruling class is holding back on its own progress, in order to lead the common people forward. In return for the personal sacrifices they made for our sake, the common people will celebrate them, glorify them, obey them, reserve the best cut of meat** and the most important seats in our feasts and functions for them, and otherwise exalt them.

** very biblical 😁

Under such ideal conditions, no one amongst the common people will be seeking for a member of the ruling class to suffer or be punished, even if the members of the ruling class themselves are in conflict with each other. We will just assume that the members of the ruling class are in conflict with each other, simply because they have different ideas on how to take us forward, and thus, if possible, we will honour them both, even if we choose only one of them as the one we will follow.

In these ideal conditions, we might raise one faction of the ruling class that we will follow to become the government, but we will still honour the other factions of the ruling class that we chose not to follow, by making them the honourable members of the opposition, and not at all desire either the ruling class in the government or the opposition to go to jail, even if they often quarrel amongst themselves.

The relationship between the ruling class and the common people in Malaysia currently however, is not positive, and might as well be quite negative, because the common Malaysians today, are generally suspicious about the capability of our ruling class, both in the government and the opposition, to take us forward. They all seem to talk a big talk, but we have doubts as to whether they actually are in a forward position or know the way forward. Because of our suspicions, we are frequently stricken by a recurring doubt that that our ruling class might actually just be pretending that they know the way forward, although they do not actually know the way forward, simply because they want us to celebrate, glorify, exalt and even reward them, although they are only capable of getting us further and further lost, the more they insist that they know the way forward.

Under such suspicious conditions, naturally, the people will desire the members of the ruling class to not only have differences in opinion amongst themselves, but be in open conflict with each other, because if there are any true members of the ruling class amongst the fake lot, we will assume that they would be upset that the common people are being misled and made a fool of by the fake members of the ruling class, and thus punish and banish the fake members of the ruling class as the first order of business.

This being the case , the people will expect that regardless who is in power, at least a few members of the ruling class should be in prison, for the sin of misleading the people and getting us lost, although we have done nothing but honour and glorify them.

Now, we can add the fact that we have many different parties and leaders who have a long and complex relationship amongst themselves, and also add in the fact that there is a racial, religious and partisan dynamics in play between the ruling class and the common people, which will in turn add an immense layer of complexities to the equation as well, but the end of the day, the fact that remains unchanged, is that the relationship between the ruling class and the people in the country is in a negative place, and if it is to ever to become positive again, some members of the ruling class must be punished and banished by being put in jail.

Currently, the member of the ruling class that is in jail is Najib. Just Najib alone being in jail is likely not enough to repair the relationship between the ruling class and the people – more members of the ruling class actually need to be put in jail for that to happen.

But if even Najib is released from jail, and no one else from the ruling class replaces him, I don’t see how the relationship between the ruling class and the people can ever be made positive again.

If Najib is taken out jail, the ruling class – be it the government or the opposition - needs to think about putting at least one or two former Malaysian Prime Minister, or perhaps a few former ministers, or perhaps a number of crony billionaires, in jail, in order to enable the conditions that will improve the relationship between the ruling class and the people.
πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…πŸ˜†πŸ˜Š

** I luv to propose one but is there an age limit to imprisonment😁😁😁

If they don’t do that, then they will have no one else to blame but themselves, if they find it difficult to get the people to follow or honour them, simply because we will not be able to tell the difference between the fake ruling class and the real ones.

When people suspect that the ruling class is still composed of fake members, because none of them are being banished or punished despite all of us feeling that we have been misled and made a fool of, what else can we do but assume that the ruling class is is still hijacked by fake members, who are undeserving of our exaltation and more apt to get us all lost then lead us forward.
