Over the years Malaya/Malaysia has purchased Sabre jets, V-150 AFV, 5 LST ships, many excellent S-61 Nuri helicopters, the ill-fated Skyhawks, the very capable F-5 E, the excellent F/A-18..most foot were armed with M-16, originally direct purchased from USA, now slowly being replaced.
