Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says he has also contacted the leaders of Egypt, Turkey and Bahrain on providing humanitarian aid.

.to facilitate humanitarian aid and enable us to bring injured and sick Palestinian women and children to Malaysia for treatment
He told a Palestine solidarity rally in Bukit Jalil here this evening that he had also contacted Turkish president Recep Erdogan and the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to continue providing humanitarian aid and support.
About 12,000 people attended the rally, where attendees were seen waving the Jalur Gemilang and the Palestine flag while chanting

The rally featured speeches on the history and development of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by leaders of NGOs.
The programme included mass Maghrib prayers followed by speeches from deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, agriculture and food security minister Mohamad Sabu, human resources minister Steven Sim, and Dewan Rakyat Speaker Johari Abdul.
On Thursday, Anwar said the rally was meant to send a strong message to the world that Malaysia condemns the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed in an explosion in Iran on July 31.
