Najib informs his nemesis that M is not just for Mahathir
FORMER prime minister (PM) Datuk Seri Najib Razak has responded to former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s rants regarding the status of Malaysia as a multi-racial nation, saying to the elderly politician that the letter ‘M’ is not just for Mahathir.
In a twist, Najib is probably also suggesting that M is for all Malaysians. Nevertheless, Dr Mahathir has made several conflicting remarks on Malaysia’s status and Najib reacted to them with this comment on his social media accounts:
The post is accompanied by a video in which Dr Mahathir is heard saying, “Malaysia is a multi-racial country and voters cannot vote for their community alone.”
This is a stark reminder of Dr Mahathir’s earlier position on the status of Malaysia as a multi-racial nation.
While Najib has struck hard against the recent rants from his nemesis, who brought him down as PM, those commenting on the post were not kind to Dr Mahathir altogether.

A convicted prisoner has a right to communicate with his legal team FOR THE PURPOSE OF HIS LEGAL DEFENCE, including on ongoing cases.
ReplyDeleteThere is no right to pass or receive communications on political matters.
It is an atrocious scandal with Malaysia's prison system that Najib appears to be able to update his Facebook and Twitter feed on a daily basis.
When Anwar Ibrahim was imprisoned, occasional rare statements came out under his name, but definitely not on this atrocious regularity.
