Najib Razak’s daughter Nooryana Najwa says she was told by her father that Papagomo and Syed Imran Syed Abdul Aziz do not represent him, although they are his supporters.

Nooryana Najwa, daughter of former prime minister Najib Razak, said it was unfair for anyone to ride on or use her father’s name.

PETALING JAYA : Najib Razak has distanced himself from a “Bossku” show hosted by two of his staunch supporters, saying the pair did not represent his views.

The two supporters are Wan Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papagomo, and Syed Imran Syed Abdul Aziz, who leads an NGO called Pertubuhan Jalinan Perpaduan Negara Malaysia.

They had announced they would host a show tonight entitled “Bossku Nak Apa?”, using the popular nickname “Bossku” by which Najib is known.

Najib’s daughter Nooryana Najwa said in an online posting that her father had told her that Wan Azri and Syed Imran did not represent him although they were his supporters.

“Syed Imran has also not been instructed by Najib to issue any statement on his behalf.

“Najib has been in prison for almost a year and it is not fair for Syed Imran or any other individual to ride on or use Najib’s name,” said Nooryana.

She also said any official statement by her father would be posted on his social media accounts.

Wan Azri had in a Facebook post that was uploaded along with the poster said he will expose Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s alleged lies and how the deputy prime minister name dropped Najib and Umno to back Anwar Ibrahim’s unity government.

Najib is serving a 12-year prison sentence in Kajang prison after the Federal Court affirmed his conviction and sentence in a case involving SRC International funds.
