Lodge report or I will, Wee tells Deepak
The Ayer Hitam MP gives the controversial businessman three days to lodge a police report over the egg import controversy.

PETALING JAYA: Ayer Hitam MP Wee Ka Siong has urged controversial businessman Deepak Jaikishan once again to lodge a police report over statements made about egg imports from India.
He said he would lodge a police report in three days if Deepak did not, in order to get to the bottom of the matter.
Wee, Deepak and the egg importing company J&E Advance Tech Sdn Bhd have been involved in a slanging match for days over the egg import controversy.
He had urged Deepak to make a police report yesterday, after Deepak denied making a phone call to Wee on Wednesday.
“To protect the good name of the Prime Minister’s Office and to clear his own name, I once again urge Deepak to not stay silent, lodge a report immediately,” Wee said today.
Wee said he found it strange that the egg importer J&E Advance Tech had in a media statement admitted that it had phoned him on Monday.
“So who was the one that called me, since Deepak denied any links to the company? Does this mean J&E Advanced Tech called me and impersonated Deepak? All these questions will be answered if he lodges a police report,” Wee said.
