The most hypocritical flabbergasting wicked statement by the US

On January 1, 1979, the United States recognized the PRC and established diplomatic relations with it as the sole legitimate government of China.

“The sole legitimate government of China” means the PRC was and is the only China, with no consideration of the ROC (today Taiwan) as a separate sovereign entity. Legally & diplomatically, the US de-recognises ROC; effectively & diplomatically, it abandoned ROC (obviously for US interests).

That was in 1979. Ten days ago Honduras announced it would seek official relations with Beijing and cut them with Taiwan. The US warned Honduras that China makes many promises that are unfulfilled after.

That was the most hypocritical flabbergasting wicked statement by the US in undeniably an indirect attempt to "persuade" Honduras not to trust China, thus not to recognise the Chinese PRC nor abandon Taiwan diplomatically. But the Wankees neglected to mention, or forgot, or pretended not to acknowledge its own abandonment of Taiwan 45 years earlier.
