Noh Omar hints Tanjong Karang saga not over

PETALING JAYA: Selangor Umno chief Noh Omar has hinted that the saga over his candidacy in the Tanjong Karang parliamentary seat may not be over.
At a press conference, the former Tanjong Karang MP said whether or not he would remain loyal to Barisan Nasional would be revealed tomorrow at the nomination centre for the seat.
“Wait for tomorrow in Tanjong Karang. Whoever’s interested, please come,” he told reporters when asked if he was sticking to BN after being dropped as the coalition’s candidate for the seat.
Yesterday, BN secretary-general Zambry Abd Kadir said the Tanjong Karang seat would be contested by Habibah Yusof.
