KODIANG: The education ministry today called on all quarters, including the opposition, to cease linking the National Higher Education Fund (PTPTN) to the Pakatan Harapan (PH) manifesto for the 14th general election.
Its minister, Maszlee Malik, said borrowers, regardless of the loans they took, were obliged to settle them.
“Whatever the manifesto says, the borrowers have to pay the loan.
“The opposition, they just want to politicise the issue. When you borrow money, you have to pay, even at RM10 a month,” he told reporters after a visit to Sekolah Kebangsaan Siputeh. [...]
Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had three days ago expressed regrets with the untrustworthy attitude of PTPTN borrowers for defaulting on their loans, resulting in arrears in unpaid loans totalling RM36 billion.
According to Mahathir, the loan defaulters included those who already secured jobs.
PH, in its general election manifesto, stated that it would defer repayment of PTPTN loans for borrowers earning RM4,000 a month and below.

Actually I agree with Maszlee that if you borrow loans you MUST repay, though how and when can be worked out in a compassionate and practical way.
To reiterate, PH, in its general election manifesto, stated that it would defer repayment of PTPTN loans for borrowers earning RM4,000 a month and below.
Mind you, he is obviously doing exactly what Mahathir wants, and what Mahathir wants, the ministers bloody well do it, wakakaka. Be kuai kuai like Guan Eng, wakakaka again.
Mahathir as PM is not just the traditional primus inter pares (first among equals). With him, there is and can be no equal, wakakaka.
But for Maszlee to accuse the opposition of politicising the issue is plain bullshit. It wasn't the opposition who promised loan takers it would defer re-payment of PTPTN loans until they earn more than RM4000 a month. It was Pakatan and a Pakatan politicised promise.
Stop blaming others and start fulfilling your Pakatan promises, instead of merely capati-ing them.
keep and re-cycle for GE15 |
Loan deferment is not loan forgiveness.
ReplyDeleteTua Tiow Sai has yet to answer Guanee what happened to the Consolidated Revenue Account, declining by 11 Billion from Dec 31, 2017 to April 30, 2018. Coincidentally 4 months prior to GE14. That would pay off quite a few PTPTN loans.
ReplyDeleteGuan eng is master of putar belit. He got all access to the account information, he should tell instead and make police report if got any wrong doing. Why asked najib? Tell laa.. so silly la this finance minister..
DeleteUnless he dunno how to read those accounting data..
Anyway najib already counter with 17 questions! Let see how guan eng will spin this pulak..
Guan Eng has to do what Mahathir told him to, kacau & ganggu Najib with questions even if the questions are nonsensical
DeleteCare to point out those questions that r nonsensical?
DeleteOr u seriously think that whatever jibby twitted r gospels!
From what I have read, most of Lim Guan Eng's recent revelations have been more of Financial misconduct and bad practices rather than outright criminal activity.
DeleteSo , a Police Report is not the best way to deal with this. The Police would likely say no charges against Najib, he would claim to be exonerated , and Cha Bor would be screaming like a rabid dog that it is proof Najib is being unfairly demonised by Mahathir.
Come ck.. as an RBA, surely u know how find those questions OR perhaps u also r playing trick like ur master LGE by diverting fr the subject. Anyway.. just go lah to najib fb and read it out. No point for me to copy paste it over here..
DeleteWhether i think najib words are gospel or not it doesnt matter coz it seems evidently that PH lied abt our economy status and people like u got peed real bad.. hancing siott bro..
Jibby's post May 9 facebook postings are mostly Self-Serving fake news and half-truths.
DeleteWakakakaka…… RBA??
DeleteWa lau-eh, how many time has yr buasir otak been laundered by the like of mom?
Answer questions with question ONLY proves those recycled buasir otak is petrifying lah!
It's worst than tin kosong.
Yeah right..u said tin kosong but still guan eng cannot answer.. surely ur guan eng got bigger buasir coz never answer najib questions.. and trying to defend him shows u r trying to butt plug guan eng's buasir.. i dunno what is worst..
DeleteWandering WHY suddenly so many of these rd morons/minions/sycophants come out of kt's 'woodwork'!
DeletePerhaps paid, multiple splited single young ciku trying to earn his/her keeps le. Macam that infamus melayu palsu yang terlampau melayu passing his trade.
The previous FM also obey all orders of the previous PM, 100%.
