Iran warns US it will retaliate against any attack
- Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi says US President Donald Trump’s warning against Tehran of military action should protests turn bloody motivated “terrorists” to target protesters and security forces in order to invite foreign intervention.
- Trump has repeatedly threatened to intervene in Iran, warning he has “very strong options” as the US military studies the situation while his administration is in contact with Iranian opposition leaders.
- Iran’s government declares three days of national mourning for the “martyrs” killed in two weeks of protests, including members of security forces.
- At least 100 security personnel have been killed in recent days, state media report, while opposition activists say the death toll is higher and includes dozens of protesters. Al Jazeera cannot independently verify either figure.

An incredibly interesting observation is that the number of views on Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s videos have dropped from 30-90 million to 3-6 million after the internet blackout in Iran. This strongly suggests that the vast majority of the Prince’s supporters are indeed in Iran.

Authoritarian dictatorship ALWAYS say dissent and protests are "stoked and fuelled by evil foreign elements".
ReplyDeleteThey can never see themselves in the mirror that their policies and actions, especially brutal actions, are generating revolt.
