PETALING JAYA: Police have postponed questioning “Mr H”, the individual linked to a controversy involving a former community communications department director-general, after he fell sick, Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain said.
The police were supposed to have taken Mr H’s statement in Putrajaya this evening.
Razarudin, however, said Mr H did not turn up as he was unwell.
“A new date to record his statement will be announced later,” the nation’s top cop said in a statement.
Earlier today, FMT reported that Mr H was nowhere to be seen at the Putrajaya police station, where reporters had gathered since 4pm.
On Friday, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir, an assistant community district officer of the department, popularly known as J-Kom, claimed he had been pressured by Mr H to record a video call with J-Kom’s director-general Agus Yusoff, who has since resigned.
Wahab’s disclosure of Mr H came in the wake of a video clip allegedly containing a lewd conversation between him (Wahab) and Agus, that was leaked online.
Wahab, who is also vice-chairman of Hulu Langat PKR Youth, said that he had been pressured to record a video call with Agus since joining J-Kom on Nov 1.
The next day, Hakim Ramlee, a J-Kom official, denied claims he was Mr H, saying such allegations were malicious.
