KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 19 — [2.55pm] The Johor Election Commission has confirmed the deaths of two senior citizens at polling centres in the state.
A spokesman said that one death occurred in the parliamentary constituency of Sembrong and the other in Pulai.
No other details were forthcoming at the time of writing.
This comes after Sin Chew Daily reported earlier of another citizen being found dead in his car outside the SJKC Batu 11 polling centre in Cheras today.
It is thought that the 79-year-old had returned to his car after casting his ballot, as his finger was marked with indelible ink.
