Rodziah proposes Rafizi as finance minister
Rodziah Ismail said Rafizi Ramli will manage the country’s finances with the interest and needs of the people in mind.
PETALING JAYA: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for Ampang, Rodziah Ismail, has proposed that PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli be appointed finance minister should the coalition win the general election (GE15).
Rodziah said Rafizi, who is a chartered accountant, was qualified to manage the country’s finances and will do so with the interest and needs of the people in mind.
“God willing, we will win (GE15) on Nov 19 and the day after, we will hear that (PH chairman) Anwar Ibrahim is our prime minister.
“I also hope that Rafizi will become finance minister, that is my dream,” Utusan Malaysia quoted her as saying.
Rafizi is in a five-cornered contest for the Pandan seat in GE15.
