PH, BN agree to form Perak state govt

PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional have agreed to jointly form the Perak government.

This was confirmed by PH today.


In the general election, Perikatan Nasional had won 26 state seats in Perak, followed by PH with 24, and BN with nine.

Previously, Perak Perikatan Nasional hinted that it would work with BN to form the state government.

The Muhyiddin Yassin-led coalition had ruled out collaborating with PH.

IPOH: Perak DAP leader Howard Lee has arrived at Istana Kinta here, believed to be for an audience with Sultan Nazrin Shah.

The Ipoh Timor MP and Perak DAP treasurer arrived at about 12.15pm.

Members of the media had gathered outside the Istana since this morning.

Earlier, Pakatan Harapan confirmed that it reached an agreement with Barisan Nasional to jointly form the state government.
