KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Abang Johari Openg declined to elaborate when asked about Barisan Nasional’s decision not to support any coalition to form a government.
He said the action that GPS would take depends on the decision made by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
“I don’t know the King’s decision yet. I don’t know (BN’s decision). I am (still) in the state assembly,” he told reporters when met at the state legislative assembly building here.
On Sunday, GPS announced that the coalition was ready to work with Perikatan Nasional (PN), BN and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) to form the federal government and support PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin for the prime minister’s post.
However, Ismail Sabri Yaakob said today that the BN Supreme Council had decided not to support any coalition to form the government.
In a Facebook post, the Umno vice-president added that BN agreed to be in the opposition.

ReplyDeleteAJO is very irresponsible to have taken that decision making Agong to decide or take side (it would seem, whatever decision he made). By this AJO is dragging the Agong into disrepute. AJO should resign !!!
Sadly, this Abang fellow is willing to open the doors wide for PAS to market their brand of racial and religious bigotry to Sarawak.
ReplyDeleteBut then, is it because this abang guy is also muslim and part of the muslim ummah with a long term goal of islamic state in Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak?
