Saifuddin retained as sec-gen, Nurul Izzah made vice-president

PETALING JAYA: Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has been retained as PKR’s secretary-general, while Fahmi Fadzil was named as the party’s information chief.
Nurul Izzah Anwar, the daughter of PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, has been appointed a vice-president in the party.
Putatan MP Awang Husaini Sahari and K Saraswathy were also appointed vice-presidents.
Selayang MP William Leong was appointed treasurer.
Meanwhile, PKR Titiwangsa branch chief Zahir Hassan has been appointed as PKR chief organising secretary.
Five others who made it into the party’s central leadership council are former Kapar MP G Manivannan, Tawau MP Christina Liew, Batu Tiga assemblyman Rodziah Ismail, Sarawak PKR information chief Abun Sui Anyit, and Johor PKR Youth chief R Yuneswaran.
The appointments were announced following a meeting by the party’s central leadership council last night.
Saifuddin had contested for the deputy presidency in the PKR polls, but lost to Rafizi Ramli.
Fahmi, meanwhile, had eyed the vice-president’s post.
Nurul stepped down as vice-president in December 2018.
Anwar also announced that the party’s representatives who would be attending the Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting on Tuesday, along with him, are Rafizi, vice-presidents Nurul Izzah and Chan Lih Kang, Saifuddin, as well as Wanita PKR chief Fadhlina Sidek, and PKR Youth chief Adam Adli.

It's a compromise between the two teams, but I doubt it satisfies either side.
