Ravaged by Power

How many of you CANNOT recognise the woman in this picture? This picture appeared this morning in The Star's headlined story. Someone sent it to me. (I think its going around).

Then later today (by 12.30 pm) The Star changed the picture. So you can see the updated picture below here together with The Star's headline :

Here is The Star's updated picture and the story. It is none other than Nurul Izzah.

Sometimes when age catches up they might say 'ravaged by time'.
But she has aged so much after just 15 months in power.
It is 'ravaged by power'.

I got some comments from the "usual group" about the picture.

One person said : "yeah she used to be my heart-throb...sigh. Now she's lost that look of innocence and looks so garang"

Another guy said "Ya Allah. Bukan 10 tahun, 20 tahun dah...she needs to chill" (Implying she looks like she has aged 20 years).

Another comment : "The effect of being anak Papa".

People can visibly age during wartime when they face imminent and continuous threats to their lives. Or when someone loses a loved one who died suddenly. It is the constant stress.

My advise to Nurul Izzah is "SIRATAL MUSTAQEEM'.
Dengar baik-baik adik. You are not your Papa.
