Man claims trial to raping, sodomising his 3 children
The 38-year-old accused was also charged with causing harm to his wife.

PETALING JAYA: A 38-year-old man in Terengganu claimed trial to seven counts of rape, sodomy, and sexual assault against his three children over a span of more than a year.
The accused made the plea after the charges were read before judge Nooriah Osman at the Kuala Terengganu sessions court, Berita Harian reported.
For the first two counts, the man was charged with raping his 13-year-old child. He was also charged with three counts of having sexual relations with his 12-year-old child.
He was then charged with two counts of committing unnatural sexual intercourse with his third child, aged nine.
The offences were committed in a house in Kuala Nerus between February 2022 and last month.
The charges were framed under Sections 376(3), 377CA, and 377C of the Penal Code, providing a maximum penalty of 30 years’ imprisonment and caning, if convicted.
The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Intan Nur Hilwani Mat Rifin while the accused was unrepresented.
Bail was not offered to the accused, and the court fixed July 12 for next mention.
Meanwhile, in a magistrates’ court, the accused was slapped with another charge under Section 323/326A of the Penal Code for causing harm to his wife.
